IRC Room

I was thinking, we have 3 kick-ass games, a forum, and a steam group, why don't we get an IRC room. It would be good to get a few of the members online in a chat room. Maurice, what do you think of this?

If someone else already thought of this, then I am being completely ignorant.

EDIT: Ok, scrolling down about 1 more post lets me see there already is an IRC on freenode. That makes me ignorant!

We aren't making an official steam group or irc channel. At least we don't have any plans to do so.

Internet Relay Chat is a very widely used protocol to chat with other people on the net. You connect to servers, and then join #rooms on that server to start talking with other people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irc

I run a flash based client for IRC , and it works very well.
That way people just need to click on a link on my site and connect easily.
I know that normally you would have to start a program and go from there. This just makes it easier.
