I'd buy a Super Mario Bros. starring Wario and Waluigi if they had their own abilities but it stayed faithful to the actual Super Mario Bros. sidescrollers, just for some variety in the sidescrolling Marios

Honestly I wish they would've put Wario and Waluigi in the New Super Mario Bros. titles for Wii/Wii U. They'd be a perfect fit for it.
Honestly I only hate Waluigi because he hasn't had a major role in a game yet. He just needs to be in the spotlight in a real game, not a sports/kart/party one.

TXo, That would be nice.
And, idiot, you're saying you hate Waluigi only because he hasn't gotten a real role?
That's idiotic dumb.
We like Waluigi, and we want him to get his own game, or at least a non party/sport game.
We don't hate him because he doesn't have one yet! (soft exclamation applies here)

I hate him because he's a useless character. When he becomes useful and important, then I might like him. Until then my reason is only dumb to you.
Also, completely unrelated but I recently got a 3DS and would like some game recommendations that are anything not Mario related.

So, I have something off discussion to ask you guys:
I'm making a mod called "Mari0 +Portal", as some of you may know. This is, mostly, a graphic mod.
What that means? That means that there are a lot of reskined stuff, but also means that there are some customizable entities and customizable textures. I'm also working with compatibility, so whatever you do should work in the mod and in vanilla Mari0. Here's an example of the same situation (even the in-editor testing), inside the mod and in vanilla Mari0:
As you may see through the screenshots, I've added a lot of things already (like custom indicator lights, boxes changing textures, buttons changing textures, custom title screens, and some other things. You can see more informations about what the mod adds in my blog's post).
So, the point is: I don't know ANYTHING about lua. All I know is what is similar to Java, that I'm still learning. The rest I tried to copy the codes and modify them as I would like to (for example, the custom indicators entities are just renamed and retextured wall indicator entities).
But I need help with this mod. I'll not make anyone make the entire mod for me and call it as mine, but it would be really helpful if someone could beta test it, fix somethings, add some small features...
And the question is: can some of you guys help me with this mod? I'm not asking to any of you guys making something big or hard. I just need some little help with the codes sometimes. I'll credit anyone who helps me (for example, I'll already credit Qcode for helping me with the "changing texture" cube). Thanks, and if you'd like to help me or have any question, just PM me.
NOTE: I'm just posting it here because I don't think it's necessary to create a new topic just for asking this, as I made with my "Box changing texture" topic.

Also, Kingdom Hearts 3D is a good game and I recommend it to any fan of the series.

I recently broke my 3DS (while trying to fix the cameras) so I can't recommend much. But I will recommend the only reason I'd get another 3DS.
The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave ($10)
Excellent game. Satisfaction 100% guaranteed.

I'd recommend Aeroporter, and some of those Art Style games for the DSi. They are available on the 3DS eShop. (Been playing AQUIA and BOXLIFE recently. Freaking loving it)

The only games I have for 3DS are NSMB2 and Nintendogs (I liked the DS one a lot when I was younger so I had to try it)
Also, I got farther on my project. This will probably be the last I show of anything until more is done, and by then I'll make its own thread

I keep hearing about this Barry guy, and from I've heard all he does is edit the videos.
Am I wrong here? If this is true then why do I keep hearing about him?

Thank you idiot! Maybe I'll add him as an unlockable character if I can manage to pull that off. I was also thinking of making the "The Game" into this black-yellow font
And yeah, mainly he edits the videos, but it's not straight up "cut video pieces, put them together", he adds funny things in there sometimes. They talk about him sometimes, but most of the time they mention him it's like "Barry do this to the video"

The games I have for 3DS are Super Mario 3D Land, OoT 3D, Kid Icarus, MK7, Luigi's Mansion, and Super Street Fighter IV. They're all loads of fun and I would definitely recommend them.

Why not the whole universe? That way if we were to point some super telescopes out of the observable universe we'd still know that idiot was prime president and in control.
Wait.
If we point it out past the observable universe we'd be looking before the creation of the universe. If we knew idiot was in control before the creation of the universe then....
idiot9.0 is god.

Actually, if you look past the observable universe, the unobservable universe just becomes observable.

You can't look past the observable universe because points outside of the observable universe is seen from light yet to reach Earth. If you were to attempt to view a point outside of the observable universe you wouldn't see anything.TheJonyMyster wrote:Actually, if you look past the observable universe, the unobservable universe just becomes observable.

It might have been an irrelevant reference, but he has a point. Just because you can't see it from Earth doesn't mean you can't see it. Our sun isn't the only sun.
And either way, that's not what I was trying to say. What I was saying is if you can see the unobservable universe, it's obviously not unobservable anymore.

I've seen some other TASs before, but I've never known how they work. I'm going to have to look it up...

You're both really dumb. (How can TAS stand for something where the last word begins with R?)
TAS stands for Tool Assisted Speedrun (or superplay sometimes), and it doesn't mean hacking/modding for speed or whatever. It means that the person who made it used emulator features to get optimal inputs for the fastest possible completion time.

Just to expand what Camewel said:
And sometimes, like in the vid Mari0Maker showed, glitch abuse(damn it took me a lot to perform the reverse long jump glitch on the final stairs and the MIPS glitch, still cant to them right the 1st time).
Which means frame by frame advance to input the commands in the first frame available to do so, rewind feature to correct every mistake, and such.Camewel wrote:the person who made it used emulator features to get optimal inputs

I'm sick of watching Turret Opera get bashed for stupid reasons, especially when the argument is "Be more intelligent!" I feel like he's been one of the more intelligent posters here recently, especially when everyone else gets on him for posting anything.
To prove my point, I'm using Idiot9.0 as a comparison, since everyone around here seems to love him so much. (Not that I don't, it's just that people around here give him too much credit.)
For any post that Idiot makes, he gets all the praise he can handle, no matter how intelligent it is. For any post that Turret makes, he gets bashed to the point of going off-topic, no matter how intelligent it is. Other people can apparently make jokes and be lolzy, but noooooo, not Turret, because it's going off-topic, it's not intelligent, and he can't do it right (even though it's really no different than anyone else does).
Why don't we use a recent conversation in this very chat room as an example. Starting with:
I'm serious. Qcode, would you have typed that if it had been me, or anyone else on this forum, that had said that? Probably not.
And so we're left in a quandary: Turret can't say anything, because if it comes out of Turret's mouth (or, in this case, the keyboard), it's dumb and unintelligent.
Yet Idiot answers:
Oh, and when someone else makes a joke? NO ONE CARES. Let's ALL get on the bandwagon of bashing our little misfit Turret here! Are you freaking SERIOUS?
No, he's not perfect, but he deserves far more credit than you Idiot9.0s give him.
Lay off him, or at least - y'know - think before you post. Sound familiar? It should.

This was a sarcastic (aka "humorous") response to what seemed to Idiot to be an incredibly dumb post (I think Jony just made a mistake - and speaking of which, this applies to him too). Immediately following is:idiot9.0 wrote:That's the joke you nitwit.
Someone explain to me how stating the obvious makes him such a role model. Is it because he was being a smart alec about it? He just appended "nitwit" to the end; that's not intelligent. Is it because he's such a leader? Explain to me how he's proven that here - by insulting someone, he's lost all credibility with me. Yet it was supposed to be funny, or something.Camewel wrote:Idiot for prime president of the observable universe.

Oh, right, how could that POSSIBLY be relevant to what we're talking about? In the words of the Space Core, "Space. Spaaaaaaace." It's a perfectly logical jump, and it was unexpected to boot. It was a good joke. If anyone else had said it, no one would have cared, but it's just because Turret said it that everyone had to kill it off.Qcode wrote:That's exactly why people put you on their foe list turret. Yet I'd go so far as to say that almost anything Turret has said is far more intelligent than stating the obvious (and using "nitwit" again) for the umpteenth time. Is "intelligent" the right word, or should I be using "mature"? Insults aren't mature either, whether they're used to prove a point or not. (Yes, that includes this one.) To add another unlikable phrase, it's being a broken record. Turret is at least being original and helping to break up the monotony of "intelligent" posts I keep seeing.idiot9.0 wrote:Something intelligent, you nitwit.
