So, today Windows 8.1 showed how awesome it is, and decided to corrupt the Boot Configuration Data

I've spent all day trying to fix this with no progress at all. I'm seriously considering moving from Windows to Ubuntu or that Mac OS, since this is not the first time something like this happened.

The programming competition, HackRU, was awesome. Our group didn't get any placement or awards but we had fun and many people liked our project. Anyway, here's what we made:

Does anyone know of any 2D games with a good urban environment? Stuff like buildings, city streets, cars, subways, maybe sewers. I'm shooting for something like Super Bell Subway, except sprites.

Ok I'll stop being stupid, I just found it hilarious how people couldn't tell.
It's not a hack it's what's become of my old Mario engine.

But I'm more so extremely happy because that means it looks really authentic to the point people can't tell the difference.
Also I'm not going to go any further than this because I want everything to be a surprise (if you've been around me in steam chat you'd have been spoiled anyway but whatever :P)

If you're making good contributions to the conversation at hand, then I really don't care how often you post. So far I haven't seen any reasons to discredit you. We needed more livelihood in this forum anyway ^^

Although I will say, I did the same thing once where I was posting a lot, but I got carried away and said something way off-topic in the Support forum. That got me banned :P So think it through each time and you'll be fine.

I was wondering about creating a new Noteworthy Posts thread. It was recently bumped again so it might not apply anymore, but I wanted to post about this anyway. For threads like this, even though they should be "timeless", they tend to get ignored for a while and then it's rarely posted in, even though there could be further discussion/contribution/etc. (or maybe everyone just lost interest and the new members don't care enough to warrant keeping the thread alive)

But I was wondering if it's just the fact that the thread is old that's making it inactive? I mean nobody wants to bump the thread, so why not create a new version like what happened to the original Chat "Room" thread (twice)?
Again, this doesn't really apply to the Noteworthy Posts thread (if it stays active), but I could name a few other threads I'd like to see a new iteration of (or simply be active again) selfmade memes thread
And sometimes the OP is inactive which can be odd if it's meant to be updated frequently

Or maybe someone could start a "Threads you want to be alive again thread" thread where you name threads that are dead that you want to be alive
