So about what happened in the Steam chat...

I posted a screenshot of a project I was working on, somebody said that my temporary textures looked like Minecraft-styled textures. Not much of an issue, though they didn't understand that the textures were temporary at first. I had to explain the concept of 'Programmer Art' to the people of the chat. Wasn't too big of a deal.

Skye (and others) asked if I was making a Minecraft port to C++ because the temporary art I had looked so similar. This is because C++ is the language I was working on the project with. I told them no, but it was too late. Everybody assumed I was making a Minecraft-clone or something. Just a misconception right? No. Apparently after a few seconds this turned into a 'little joke' that Skye kept repeating for hours. I kindly asked him and the other people to stop beating the dead horse, and then I was banned from the chatroom for being an 'opinionated asshole.'

Sometimes the Steam chat makes my brain hurt. It isn't hard to stop with a joke sometimes.

Either way, we can forget about it. Anybody who wants to act like this is a big deal is really, really, really immature.

I was unbanned later so I could get my word on the situation in.

I have no idea why this became a thing lmao. Anyway, there's some backstory for those who don't know what happened in the chat. I'll rephrase if necessary.

Thanks Jev for saying that it should be over. You're right. I thought it was over already.
Everyone has their own opinion about what happened. It doesn't matter, because when it comes down to it that's what they are. Opinions. I am sorry for whatever I did that wasn't the single best thing I could have done, so even though I'm not exactly sure what happened amidst (how the hell do you spell that?) all of the chaos, I'm sure that every single person could have done something better. Despite that, it's okay, because no one is perfect, and we are all people that stay true to ourselves.

Anyways, I told my crush happy birthday today. It only took until the last class of the day.

Anyway, it's good to have you back, Jeviny (And between us swedishmen: Fy fasen va trevligt! :D)! It's been wierd to be the only swedish person around here.
Remember that the chat and the forum is not the same place (Nor has the same owner. It's just has the same relevance). So if the chat is bringing you down, you still have the forum and vice versa. So you can use the other one if one of them is lost. And if an argument is starting like that again, don't stay to finish it! Ignore it or leave until the chaos is calmed. Just a heads up so this doesn't happen again.

And to everyone else: We gotta be more nice to newcomers. I mean, seriously. We threw him out because of no specific reason because of [DATA REDACTED]. And he just came. Think about it, perspectivly. What if you got thrown out because of [DATA REDACTED]? Neither of us would've wanted that.

Nevertheless, Jeviny's back, damage has been done, things has happened and we'll just have to forget about it. Also, the future and present can be changed, so let's try to avoid doing that again. Try to be careful with the keyboard and the mouse, they're really dangerous (I'm not joking. I remember watching a documentary about hackers and what they can do, and I don't want to mension what they could). So, let's move on, I guess?
