And thus Maurice saved us all from the terrible WaryLouka, and we lived happily ever after.
I've just been waiting for Maurice to ban him so Pony Story can be rebooted. Thank god.

To tell you the truth, WaryLouka would be a good forum user if all he did was make mods.
The Ortho Robot one he made was pretty good!
EDIT: I just noticed this, why is Game Development the only thing underlined?

I just downloaded a hex editor for the sole reason of seeing what your current one says. Does this make me "no one" seeing how no one comments? I really can't figure out what to say though...Kexaihami wrote:Protip: Unless you want to have nightmares, don't save my avatar and view it in a hex editor in Unicode.
(That applies to pretty much every avatar I have. I write Satanic shit in my avvies and no one comments)

Not really because it's kind of hard to explain and also the text isn't all on the screen at one time.
I also have too much of a heart. I could never be so cruel as to subject someone to the horrors. Here's a hex editor though if you feel compelled despite our warnings.

Here's what it says (Gibberish removed of course)
Honestly less "creepy, satanic, mega fucked up, and super horrific" and more "somewhat sad tale of abuse that's completely made up anyway". Not nightmare-worthy in the slightest.

Whatever. I just wanted excuses to say weird stuff and send people to awesome songs.
Cookies... cookies... more and more cookies... the numbers rise... Cookie empire!
You'd think once you got to a cookie count of over 10^50 you would stop playing Cookie Clicker, and that's all in 5 days I got there. I probably wasted a lot of electricity keeping my computer on the entire time. I'm done now though. Kind of boring at this point...

You say it like you're proud :D
You probably are... my comp tends to act weird with certain programs after being on for a long amount of time but only with the new graphics card I installed, so I don't really have much of a choice in the matter.

Is it bad if I volunteered to help work on a mod for a game that I haven't bought yet?

The worst part is the guy responded within 1 minute and said yes.
The mod hasn't been updated for a year.

Avatar (series) mod.
Civs V
I'm interested because Legend of Korra just got released, so that could give us more ideas and such for units of the future age (earth kingdom gets metal benders and stuff like that. Vehicles from the show, and so on).
EDIT: I have now bought the game. Still waiting for my code to arrive.

Is this an RF port?

I've noticed that most of my favorite songs from the artists I like are or were songs that weren't publicly released (or only released in some places and aren't widely know), for example "I Remember" and "I Love You More" by Eminem, "Spraypaint and Inkpens" by Fort Minor, "She Couldn't" and "High Voltage" by Linkin Park

Well, first, it's not intended for your main computer, but for a steam game console. So I'll never install it on my PC
Also, It run on linux, so it can only play linux games (others games if you have also a windows computer, since SteamOs can stream from it).
I don't know if it's based on ubuntu/unity, because if so, the games will suffer from performance.(Though I think they aren't using unity since it's a console)

After quite some time and testing, I have made a demo for Awesome Brothers, the mappack that I have failed to make several times, but now, I have renovated the art style, created better concepts, and improved designs. I hope you will all be surprised. I'll create a thread and upload it on Mediafire tomorrow.

I think so. If that is what connects from the system back into the TV (the input normally being AUX or CH3 [Channel 3]), then yes.popcan12 wrote:Question...

So, just here to say that my blog just got over 2000 views today, thanks to all of you from SYS community. I've been working on some projects here since first post (09/18/2012), but in the last 2 months I decided to expand them and expand my blog. So I merged both SYS stuff and my blog. This is what resulted since I first shared my blog here:
(I'm talking about this giant peak at the end of the graph)
So thank you all, guys! I'm really loving how you've been treating me not only since 2 months ago, but since my very first post!
I ♥ U ALL xD
Oh, and if you wanna see more statistics or some new features from Mari0 +Portal and the updated tileset reference (for Mari0 +Portal 1.0):

I was visiting your blog like 4 times per day, except in some days I just forgot to do it.
if multiple visits are counted, i think i'm the 76 views from Peru, but if it's not, then i don't know where are from those guys and i didn't pay them 1 dollar to watch your posts. Anyway, you should be proud of your work.

Thanks for the 76 views :)
But I'd recommend you visiting it only once per day. I don't post there very often, just 1 post per 2/3 days, mostly...

According to Joystiq, Half-Life 3 was revealed in another plane of existence rather than the new Valve controller. Using the abilities I gained from playing too much Bioshock Infinite, I have peered into this alternate universe. What I saw I can hardly describe with mere words. The first week of the release saw extravagant celebrations and parades; none were excluded from the festivities. Lazy college students who played the game, realizing their lives had been fulfilled, applied themselves to the fullest extent in their studies. Exploring new areas of math and science, these bright young minds sought to make the world a better place with new, highly advanced technology. AIDS was cured, cars ran on alternative energy sources, and rockets soared further than they ever have before. But the world soon realized the price to be paid for this incredible scientific revolution. With every new breakthrough also came new advancements in deadly weaponry. Wars broke out between countries struggling for power, and with the new, highly advanced weapons, devastation ensued for both sides. Within ten years, the earth became a desolate wasteland. Those who were able to find shelter from the explosions were forced to survive on the scarce canned food that had survived the apocalypse. The last remaining print newspaper quoted Gabe Newell, who simply said, "They weren't ready. The world just wasn't ready."
So perhaps, just perhaps, we might all be happy to wait just a little bit longer.
