going to link three of my favorite levels I made,
I'd appreciate if people could give these a star, I hit my limit already at day 3 and I'd like to stream myself doing more levels in the future.

What's this? A thread with quality Mario Maker levels? Awesome!
I'll be posting my own creations later tonight. They aren't amazing or anything, I've gotten a bit rusty...

Name: Super Playground
Difficulty: Average, but there are some semi-optional semi-difficult sections for items you'll want or need.
Be prepared to look for secrets.
gotta go fast so turret has to post other stuff for me

Inside the Geode (9B99-0000-0076-4C3F)

No I'm not pumping out levels that quickly, I just made the previous one yesterday and only posted it on here today. This was made today. Similar difficulty to my previous level; easy/medium. Most of my levels are probably going to be based on maintaining an aesthetic while having fair difficulty gameplay.
EDIT: OKAY SO MAYBE I WAS WRONG CAUSE I ALREADY MADE ANOTHER. In my defense it is probably a LOT simpler than my other two... so... THERE.
Pipe Plains (9C5B-0000-0076-B542)

same difficulty if not easier.

Well, to be fair, it is a good theme. Hell, even I use it a lot.TurretBot wrote:someone really likes the smb3 ghost house theme

Actually, I agree. All the new things they made for the old games are amazing IMO

2 LEVELS. BECAUSE FUCK IT, I HAVE A PROBLEM:
As for the discussion; heck yeah it's nice they added stuff for old games. I hope they add more of the themes from the new super mario bros games as DLC, which would also be super awesome to be compatable with the older games, such as the desert (which was actually already in the older games so they'd have sprites for that), jungle, and ice-world themes.

Actually, only SMB3 has NSMB-like world themes (especially the desert theme), out of the older games.Assasin-Kiashi wrote:the desert (which was actually already in the older games so they'd have sprites for that)
There's only two themes that are in all four games but missing in Mario Maker: Night and Ice/Snow.
- SMB1: World 6-3 is (probably) a snow level, and Worlds 3 and 6 take place at night.
- SMB3: Ice Land has ice levels in it obviously, and Dark Land has night levels in it.
- SMW: Awesome is the only ice level (the rest are ice caves), and Star World has night levels.
- NSMBU: Frosted Glacier is the ice world. It's also the night levels, though. The "haunted" part of Soda Jungle or Peach's Castle could work without making new assets.
if i start my next post in this thread with "actually" i swear

I want an ice tile that doesn't get destroyed by bomb-ombs/thwomps/etc.
Also an ice theme because grassy Overworld doesn't really mix well with ice blocks.

probably my last level for a while cause I've done every theme now and can't upload much more levels cause I don't have a high enough rank.
Weedy Waters (DFA6-0000-007C-3749)

discussion: also slopes and spinning wheels/blocks from NSMB stages. Pretty much as a whole this game just has a shit ton of potential for DLC.

Maybe one day I'll return to Mari0... but for now, here's some more levels for that other game.
That last one is definitely my favorite out of this batch.
