Oh hey, I didn't notice you made this thread something else!

I've been making music for a few years now; started releasing the "quality" stuff last year. It's mainly a mix of jazz and video game music, but loosely, since I take a lot of inspiration and enjoy experimenting. I had just been posting this in the chat room but here are the links in case anyone missed 'em first time around:

Thanks! I use Sibelius and FL Studio. Various soundfonts, commonly Sibelius' Jazz Library and FL's simsynth. I write a good chunk of the songs while playing piano and take it from there, so like 90% of the piano tracks are live recorded.

I used Famitracker for almost everything, and another tool (don't remember which one) for background non-8 bit sounds. (They are hard to notice.)

But yeah, I'm Forbles. I'm pretty inactive on Soundcloud since I don't really make a lot of music.

The 'second' track is actually an unfinished version of something I started before my first track. It took me a while to find it tho. (I searched in my external HD, took me ~3-4 hours to find.)

It's BS.
Forbles releases chiptunes every 3 months (I know him personally, he's not very relentless about his work.). A new one should be released anytime (It's been 3 months already). He doesn't make chiptunes in Famitracker, but with FL Studio (using the Magical 8bit Plug, which is a 'magical' plugin for several sound studio suites). Famitracker has a certain signature sound, which is a bass-like, almost unheard-able sound, which the reason why Forbles decided to choose another studio. If you use a nice pitching trick, you should usually be able to use the sounds. This is a modified version of the track. You should be able to hear clearly the signature sound in this version, but you don't. I got full permission from Forbles to use the pitched version.

The metadata and the information of the sound was also removed.
Essentially, WaryLouka is a douchebag who took all the credits for himself.

Weellll now, I'm giving Doritos my upvote. He made an account specifcally to reply to this, and we all already knew that Wary is a douchebag. I'd call for another ban, but we all know how well that worked out last time (Wary crying for attention, annoying poor Saso and Maurice about his banned account.). Wary's just trying to see how much he can get away with now, and me, personally? I ain't havin that shit. Or I wouldn't if I were the creator or administrator of a site.

And so, as to not derail this thread, I do have an update of my own... I'm improving upon my production quality bit by bit. My music previously was terrible. So very terrible. Hopefully in the future I can share some later works.

This a pretty remote spot on the internet for you to just stumble upon so I'm assuming someone was probably asking around until they found and contacted you. Is this true? Coincidentally, when I decided to look on the forums much later, I saw this thread and realized that my friend's work was plagiarised, so I decided to make WaryLouka guilty of his acts.

So as far as human interaction (online, offline, meaningful, not, basically all of it) goes, I pretty much dropped off the face of the Earth a little while ago. Mainly internal stuff, not external - no real desire for me to talk to people and for some reason when I do have to it goes... very, very poorly. Whether they see it that way or not, I'm definitely a bit off. Not sure what's up with my good friends at all, or how exactly they're reacting to this...
Anyways, I'm truly not quite sure what I'm doing myself, so it didn't seem like trying to use words to... explain that... to people who would want to know almost as much as I do.
So here's a song.

Oh and if you're wondering about the technical side of it, I saw a really old reddit challenge where people made songs with only synths made with 3xosc (a default FL Studio thing). In case you can't tell, I spent way more time on the composing aspect of this than audio production.
