You can transfer everything from your regular 3DS to the new 3DS so you won't really need people to re add you.
Actually, a new 3ds gives you a new friendcode regardless. My old 3ds's data was transferred to a new 3ds by Nintendo, but the old data was gone. New FC as well as no Mii Plaza data.
I want you guys to say if you can use the NNID to friend people on your Wii U since NNID is also used for miiverse which is used on both 3DS and Wii U.
