I'll translate what Mr.Q.Marx? is trying to say: why make a thread just for random questions while you can do the same on Chat Room?
When we're posting on Chat Room, there isn't a rule against topic change. People do this a lot, very, very often. If not, we would only talk about a single topic, so that wouldn't be a "Chat Room", that'd be a "Discuss [subject name here]". Don't feel afraid or anything by posting a random question there.
