We have started a town that is based off the town from the last server.

I don't understand why you insist that it is not a bukkit server. If you own the server, make it a bukkit server if you so please. I was suggesting a mod that might allow better identification to who is playing and who is not. That is, if you allocate the nicknames to a pool and have the server write down their usernames. I dunno.

I could make it bukkit, but I don't want to, I wanted to as closely as possible replicate what saso had way back when. I also said that I wanted to steer as far away from Bubba-Nate's server as possible.

Implement block protection, lockable chests with an added "key" item or a menu with a selectable amount of characters for a password lock, prevent use of the same nickname characters so that no one can impersonate another if the possibility of checking for their actual username is unavailable.

Basically what I'm saying is, it's your server. Not Saso's, not Bubba's. If you want some place without problems so that people can pvp or build with no problem, you've gotta make it your own.

Oh, and those SUGGESTIONS above have been what's on my mind if I ever let my server go public. I am NOT going to deal with greifers and theives, so I'll have the game deal with it for me. It'll just be Vanilla, without the "Van" as in "Vandalism" or "van-fucking-idiots-fucking-with-my-clients... van." So... Illa.

I can make complete private ares in vanilla, for private chests we have ender chests, but I might be able to make chests private as well(and with private areas private chests shouldn't be a problem)

Does anyone know hat happened to half of my fireworks? I put them in my dormitory's chest, checked back later that day and the bottom row of them were missing. I simply want to know if they were used or not.
Feel free to take the fireworks from my chest and use them as long as at least 3 people are online.
I would also like it if people put less stuff in their individual chests at the town; I noticed some people dump their stuff there to deal with later. Some of that stuff could help with crafting and building, you know.

I will begin the exploration of the world to map out our world soon, i will take 4 stacks of baked potatoes, 3 iron sword,2 iron shovel, 1 iron axe, 1 iron pick, 5 boats, and stack of torches, shears, a fishing rod if i do happen to run out of potatoes, and a bed.If any brave apprentice explorers wish to accompany me on this treacherous journey to unknown lands tell me when i log on, PM me, or tell me. if you people do happen to find a stronghold. bring back plenty of iron bars, stone brick, books, and iron doors. we will need those for future use. Once we have enough supplies for everyone we will complete the frame and storm the Ender Dragon, and hopefully take on the next boss. . . the Wither. I`ve faced the Wither in vanilla SMP minecraft before. once in SP. it was easy.

On another note, MAIN meeting hall within the castle is nearly done.
We will hold another meeting soon, reguarding:
-Country ID`s for citizens
-Other forms of Identification and paperwork required to enter.
-Form of government rule
-Currency
-Jobs
-and President/Czar/King/Prime Minister/Ect.
-Once i return from mapping the world, we will begin to work out naming the landscape within the forum.
-Naming the country
-Finally Eona`s Nationalization Department or (E.N.D) is temporarily closed. Any new people who come can not become citizens until it is re-opened: re-opening pending i will alert when it has re-opened to accept immigrants.
-It is closed so the government may review how much building space is available.
-it is also closed to calculate if current supplies are able to sustain the current population of its citizens.
-re-balancing of supplies amongst house holds to ensure no citizen is in need.
-finally main reason: government stabilization, and assistance to citizens is currently top priority.

I fixed the cluster fahk we had earlier with the the horse stalls. everything is looking up. I`ve organized the horses. So far it seems every citizen will atleast have 2 horses and 1 donkey. if we start breeding donkeys now we could daise that to 2 horses and donkeys per citizen but we need golden carrots to mate them. i`ve fixed the creeper holes. . . all of the ones nearby. i`ve also finished the basic bits of the forgery, the enchant room, anvil, and enderches are in the sandstone forgery. we`ll have another meeting soon. stay alert. and welcome our newest immigrant hatninja, now that he is here he has decided to become a citizen so we will discuss his admittance to the union of Azuria. the immigration restriction was lowered: we`ve found out we are average to slightly below average on supplies but we can still handle expansion. we only lack some cobble for home construction.

bit of drama at the capital. Someone made an explosion, and stole some diamond horse amor. am , of course a prime suspect. I know I don't go on the server, but I think there could be a solution for this.
You have to ask for a certain 'password'. If they give the wrong password, or give no answer, kick them.
Hell, I think there's something that blocks IP's from servers so they can't get on (that is if they don't use a proxy, but they'd just get kicked again).
Just message everyone the secret password so the assholes that use others accounts have a less chance to break shit.

Oh, and in case this doesn't already happen, when nobody's on, close the server and open it the next day.
Unless you ask for the server to be opened up that is.
