Uh, sure, I'll post here.
My friend knows a lot about coding, and he is actually making his own OS. But he knows I know Lua, so he's helping me with Java. We're working on a Tetris game with Networking Multiplayer.

Lawnboy, what's it like?
RWLABS, I made this because everyone's Ideas have been drowned out recently. If you don't know any that got drowned out,
THAT'S THE POINT.

Also, after I probably learn lua, I'll make a secret project. And no, it's not Stabbymon, it's something else.

I'm currently working on 2 projects, one that's a generic platformer, and one where I stole the idea off of this thread viewtopic.php?f=4&t=197&p=4393

Pyrosaur wrote:I've had what I think is a pretty interesting idea for a game for a while. It's a game where everything is as realistic as possible: your character has average jumping ability and speed, enemies are simple, ect. But you also have the ability to switch back and forth between the game being realistic and unrealistic (better running and jumping, but the enemies become unrealistically tough), to help you solve puzzles. Some things you would only be able to do in the "unrealistic" mode, and others would only be able to happen in the "realistic" mode. Any thoughts?

I mean a true sequel! Thankfully some canadian stores are listing it on the games list (The name was said to be Yoshi's Land)

how do you know that Yoshi's land isn't a sequel to Yoshi story?

Oh and what do you mean by "true sequel"? (it has the exact same game play and the only part I don't like is that the music's bland.)

Yeah, but some stuff like a Portal Gun you can't make fully functional. :P

How about we all work together to make a clone of the game? (I'm pretty much useless except for art, and I COULD do music if I had something to make music with.)

I know a tiny bit of programming, not enough to make a game though.
I am not to bad at art. I am with starting from scratch.
I'm terrible at music making, even though I've never done it. :P

We'd just need a coder. We could just use music from the game.
But like Turret Opera said, I really don't think we should do it.

that's a terrible idea,
have you even typed every single object out in scribble naughts?

also big company with millions of employees and money,
small community forum with little to no people knowing LOVE programing.

Do you see the problem yet?

The amount of time it would take. Just writing out all the items would take forever. Thats not even thinking of making a class structure to give them all tags and make certain items react with certain tags react to other tags.

Scribblenauts Unlimited has 3D models for all the items because not even a company that big wants to make sprites for every item. Working with Love2D, we'd have to make sprites for all of them. Also, coding and testing interactions between that many objects would be ridiculous for such a small team.

Alright, fine. But it wasn't OBVIOUS. how was I supposed to know that they used 3d models?
Also, I was thinking about making a clone of Warioware (the first one. also, I know I have to learn how to code first.) with everything SYS except for the little graphics things that can stay the way they are.

the problem is you act as if it's a breeze to make something as big as scribble naughts (best example I could come up with) is a cake walk and don't think about how hard it actually can be, and brush everybody who are trying to tell you this.

I told you already. Those comments between me saying we could make Scribblenauts and the facepalm I got apeared only on my phone! I swear!
