Minecraft is a game that is as good as you make it. If you're good at it, you can play it for ages. Anyone who says Minecraft is boring is simply a dull person.

I think they should put more thought into furniture, interactive objects and other fun stuff like that.

I did. I've been playing ever since the secret Friday update. I've build spaceships, statues, volcanoes, dungeons, sky castles, redstone minigames, cities, towers, redstone machines and adventure dungeons (every single one of them legit). I also tried several mods and servers that tickled my interest, but those won't stay interesting for long.
Somehow and somewhere I just lost interest in the game.
Maybe they'll add something fun someday. I'm not complaining about the game, it gave me tons of hours of fun. I just lost interest.
I'm just asking for in-game fun stuff like more interactive stuff, things that would or could tremendously expand the options for the creative mind. Think of cogs, ropes, engines (I doubt it), hinges to apply on (certain) blocks, wheels, etc. Wouldn't it just be awesome to make a functional walking robot? Or a castle that walks like a spider?
To put it simple: I want the world to be more dynamic (if that's the right choice of words...).

One of the few features that I really want is the ability to move clumps of blocks indefinitely, so you could make something like a motive castle.
Redstone, especially with the introduction of pistons, when applied well, can be used to make many amazing things. I have a server going with two good friends where we have built a huge adventure map, a build level 4 menger sponge, and a working 24h digital clock, and we're just getting started. The only limit is your imagination, you just need to come up with something to build.

mods are the only thing that get's me excited about minecraft
like pistons that's the first mod notch actually implemented into the game.

plus the thing that bores me is that I host a server for me and my friend on occasion
sometimes we don't like how our world turned out (it get's messy) and we restart
over
and over
and over
and over again

trust me there's only a certain amount of times you can build a mine and make a shelter before it get's boring.
