I hated Pokemon since I was a kid, the show seemed awful since then, it's soul-crushing now.

Though the game isn't half bad, if you don't account for the fact you can have creators of the universe in your pokeball, that's like Maurice being enslaved to a goomba.

One more thing, is there nothing disturbing about brainwashing animals (before pokeball: I'm going to kill you, post pokeball: meeeoooowww) and cramming them into balls or computers? How the hell do you even put an animal into a computer? Would it be a cloning machine that kills the original pokemon and prints out another one? And forcing them to kill each other isn't bad enough, but they are subjected to slavery.

Nope, I don't like pokemon.

I'm not a fan of the series, at all.
I used to like the games, but they get boring after a while. Thereby, I don't really like turn-based RPGs anymore.

1. They're not being "brainwashed" or "enslaved," they're actually WILLINGLY fighting for you. Also (unless you're talking about the Pokemon Adventures manga) there is absolutely no killing. The Pokemon are just too weak to fight. :/

1. They are. Before you catch them what do they do? Try to kill you. Afterwards they're cuddly little kittens. This sudden change of behavior is a telltale sign of brainwashing.

2. That's even worse. Teleport them all in one crowded place, that's treating them like property. What if the owner dies? Then the pokemon is in the place forever, and no one can open the vault to get it out.

3. Well, I never said Mario wasn't an asshole, and by the way he's just trying to get back his wife. The turtles kidnapped her and he's getting her back, it's like the movie Taken.

I don't exactly like pokemon, but I know its not something to fight about. And I seriously agree with Spikaya, don't put logic into video games! Almost ALL video games don't make sense! Mario is a plumber that can jump higher than anyone that is trying to save a princess from a evil turtle with mushrooms and flowers, Sonic is a hedgehog who runs extremely fast, along with a fox, a echidna, a bat, and more to defeat a fat genious called Eggman, and Kirby is simply a pink, round ball that sucks up everything on its path!

And that's why you should not put logic into video games, and the reason why I like all of those games :)

Mewtwo lv 100
Pidgeot lv 100
electabuzz lv 100
Arcanine lv 100
cloyster lv 100

then my game broke and i gave up on pokemon forever

Spiritomb isn't legendary, neither is Serperior. I did say this was my older battle box, not the one I'm actually going to use.
Serperior, Torterra, and Volcarona were totally legit, (Musada Method, yes) Regigigas was from an event, and I most likely used Action Replay for Spiritomb. Espeon was traded.

Every generation of Pokemon has had shitty pokemon. Magnemite and it's evolutionary line are all magnets. Voltorb and Electrode are literally pokeballs. You think Talonflame has a shitty name? Sure as hell hope you didn't forget SANDSLASH.
sure trubbish and vanilite are based on wierd concepts for creatures, but at least it's an original idea, cos I don't find many other games using the concepts.

Why are the new mewtwos so bad? Yes they changed look. guess what. That's what every bloody type of evolution does. They've made evolutions for pokemon from previous gens later in future gens, e.g. Politoed.

If you didn't add or change anything in a new game, what would be the point in playing it? It would be the exact same game, because there would be nothing new. So sincerely, grow the fuck up.

It's not the names being combonations, but sounding cool.
Sandshrew sounds pretty cool
Sandslash sounds like a cool evolution.

A magnetic is ok as a pokemon. Not my first choice, but magnets are pretty cool. The magnet pokemon seems like a robot or something. It's a metal creature.
Icecream cones, on the other hand, are terrible. They don't do anything irl except being eaten.
Same with candlesticks. And calling a candle Litwick is not that clever. It doesn't sound that appealing at all.

When you beat the game, you unlock a new town, which has the friend safari.. And depending on your friends, you can have certain pokemon you can catch depending on the friend
