It wouldn't even be a good pun, as they both have the same meaning. You'd be better off with a bandwagon/banned wagon pun.

Yeah that's what I meant by saying that ban is the root of banish.Camewel wrote:It wouldn't even be a good pun, as they both have the same meaning.

Question: Do enough people here play Team Fortress 2, and actively participate in trading, that it would even be worth the time to make a TF2 trading thread?

You could attempt to make a trading thread, but only a handful of people will actually bother to trade anyways.

If by "trading" you mean "throwing everything worth anything on the market for free money" then yeah I do that.Pyrosaur wrote:Question: Do enough people here play Team Fortress 2, and actively participate in trading, that it would even be worth the time to make a TF2 trading thread?

Random question: does the math in lua just go left to right or does it actually follow order of operations?

So does anyone know why Super Mario Bros Special's been picking up so much interest recently?
It's just some of the websites I visit seem to be talking about it more often recently.

I know I haven't been posting recently, since I've just been checking threads, but I won't leave. For a really long time, you could say.Jorichi wrote:That was a long time ago though. Neither do I think many people will be active in that... However that might resolve Pyrosaur's 'problem', but I don't know how that will affect the stories on their own.
Dunno if I'll have the time to be active enough in it right now.

That was one problem with Twatter story. There wasn't good enough posters that posted consistently in the failed chapters. (RW, LF, etc.)

Anyway, a hint toward the forum games: If you avoid the Troll Genie thread, you can spare the Would You Rather thread.

So Turret how does it feel to have someone ruin your joke?

The joke wasn't funny in the first place so I ruined it by making it. Nothing big, this happens with all of my jokes.

Then what does it take for you to refrain from posting them? I'm seriously quite baffled by the fact that you realize how stupid/annoying most of your jokes are, yet you still post them. Why?Turret Opera wrote:The joke wasn't funny in the first place so I ruined it by making it. Nothing big, this happens with all of my jokes.

He knows (or at least thought I mean I don't know why everyone loved him he told jokes as bad as mine) that everybody would hate him, yet he still posted. Why?

So in your defense you use the reason someone else does it, even though you don't even know why he does it? And you did it way before you even met Trist3D.Turret Opera wrote: It's like how Trist3D used to beat himself up all the time.

It's just the fact that you're making more enemies than friends.

I asked him a serious question and I only get a joke that about two people would laugh at on this forum. It's all that we seem to ever get from him.TheJonyMyster wrote:haters gonna hate.gif = joke
I would ask him to tone down the annoying jokes, I'm really okay with a few here and there, but they're just ruining forum games and topics (at least I think so).
But I see now that if I ask, I'd only get a stupid joke in return.

The thing is, when Turret first joined the forums, he tried making jokes. They didn't really go well, so he kept trying. And trying. And they all weren't really that funny, so the more he tried, the more annoying the jokes got. He stopped making them for a while, as you may had remembered, but then he started doing them again for some reason. And he's still doing it at these times.
Now, Trist3D made some jokes that were actually funny, but there were some that were just at the level of Turret's jokes, sometimes even lower. He also sometimes didn't make only jokes, there were times where he was just serious, a level I have yet to see from Turret. This made Trist bearable. So, since Turret has such a bad reputation with his jokes, he's judged so much by someone, they just have to mention it, but since Trist has a pretty good reputation, even if he makes bad jokes, people either think that at least he doesn't do it that often, or that they know that Trist isn't really fully like that.
So what I'm saying is, Turret wouldn't be like this if he hadn't made so many bad jokes in the past. He honestly makes them so much that I don't even mind anymore.

I'd like it more if I could browse another website for 5 minutes (I have trouble fighting boredom) without seeing around 6-10 topics being bumped just to tell a lame... thing. (I don't consider these jokes more so parroting)
I keep checking here because I'm looking forward to see updates on maps or interesting discussions and all I get is.
