if you put them on an *empty* SD card, and place the contents of said SD card *now full of ambassador stuff* into a zip and give 'em to me!

It has EVERYTHING to do with Nintendo because you're taking the games you bought (technically you got it for free but just roll with me on this) then giving them to someone else who didn't buy them. That counts as piracy, and is therefore illegal. It's losing them sales on games as well because the guy who got the copied games didn't pay for them at all.

That would be you and only you.

non-exclusive

Honestly, I'm not quite sure what this means.

revocable

That means Nintendo can pull this license from you at any time, and you won't have the game anymore. You have been warned.

license

You don't own your copy of the game. You own a license to play the game.

on your 3DS system

That basically means no emulators.

I recently released two mods, an editor mod (which I liked, but it wasn't too helpful, so I didn't expect it to be that popular) and I updated the RPG mod (which I thought would get immediate attention due to the amount of bumps the RPG mod previously received)

The RPG mod hasn't been 24 hours yet, but I would have expected at least one post...
Are people not checking the forums, or does no one care about my mods (not necessarily a bad thing...)?

it's odd for me because my mari0 folder (the one that has the mappack folder in it) is an extracted .love file.

I believe you name your background "1_1background1" and then another "1_1background2".
The "1_1" part of the file name is the level. the first "1"stands for World, and the other "1" stands for the Zone.
I've not tested this (and I probably will), but you can also look at the 0'Brothers Mappack for reference. :)
