I really don't see the big deal in this. I mean, it's just a fad, it'll fade away soon. And even if it doesn't, I don't see anything bad happening.Firaga wrote:God damnit, idiot. Why did you have to start all of this? Why?

The steam market has it for only 18 cents. Walk around somewhere and you could easily find a little spare change.FlutterPie wrote:Does anyone here have a Portal 2 Chell Steam trading Card ? I need it to finish my set.
Actually I'm not joking. I started doing this yesterday because I want badges.

Another thing you guys may think is funny.
Go to a video on YouTube with the Transcript feature, and off you go.
He's a good example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yRL4-R08Hg
It's right below the video next to the "Add to" button.

On a completely unrelated topic:
I took some horrible ideas and turned them into horrible comics.
I'd put them in the art thread, but that would shame art forever.
Also, that feel when the right side of your image gets cut off.
Edit because the comics are hard to read:

I think the worst part of those was I had no clue what was going on because I couldn't read it. The art itself isn't that bad

Haha.

HAHAHAHAHA.
It's annoying when you have a combination of bad handwriting, unsharpened pencils, and a crappy iPhone 4S camera.

Protip: Unless you want to have nightmares, don't save my avatar and view it in a hex editor in Unicode.
(That applies to pretty much every avatar I have. I write Satanic shit in my avvies and no one comments)

@Kexaihami
I also put symbolism in my stuff.
The character of Wilo himself was given to me while I was in a coma. He had the goggles and was wearing a hoodie, riding a cloud and waving. After I had awoken, I wrote his image down in a sketchbook. I suppose he saying "It's going to be alright.". Suprisingly, I've had more than one dream with him in it. He's a representation of what I could be in the future if things worked out fine. I gave him the name Wilo as it he looked very resistant, and luckily for me, what a great fit, as my real name is Will.
Rarely I might see him again, waving from afar. I wake up crying everytime.
Thunder Rage was an embodiment of what I was going through when another community I was in was splitting apart. I hated every one of them, I hated myself, and I looked for one of my friends in the community that had lived in my town as my best friend. When I had finally found my friend, he said I was creepy and had no life other than looking for him. I became enraged and took up Thunder Rage. I would cut myself and hurt other people. So would he.
Well, there's the beginning.

Imaginary cake derives from the idea of the square root of negative pie. Just having learnt the concept of imaginary numbers and sprinkling boredom on top of that equals imaginary cake.
Not only that, but it doubles as a portal reference to the fact that the cake is a lie.
Of course, Astromonic would be the name of my avatar which is also the username for a multitude of social accounts. It's simply astronomy turned into a name.
Yeah... I'm not as deep.

JPthisismefag doesn't really stand for anything actually
Ace McSammaria on the other hand...
It originally stood for the differences in the games i played, but when I made him a character I made him the embodiment of childish adventure fantasy's, and the energetic optimist inside us all. The design was sort of symbolism in itself. The red armor stood for his bravery, A defense. The gunblade stood for the ability to tackle any challenge.

We're talking about symbolism in OC's now?
I could get into that.
Saint, the character I submitted to the GSYS Mod and the epitome of cliché from his name to his design, is everything that I wonder about. He is what I don't want to be, and what I want to be in a single instance. A drunkard at times, alone, rich, torn apart on the inside from problems he creates himself, twisted up in gang wars and the mob, probably a little bit sadistic and murderous, and at the mercy of his uncle who runs half of what people consume to his benefit. I'll leave it up to interpretation for which of these I don't want. While he has these "qualities" about him, he is still in some essence who I am. I won't go into much detail about what I think of myself (Trust me it's rather negative.), but I will say that because of this he is known to be quite a nuisance to his uncle's enemies. A special quality I have trouble telling people is the reason why I never talk about him. It puts him in such a negative light, and makes me feel like shit when I see it in other people's OC's;
He has a certain item that allows him to travel through the multiverse, essentially giving him the ability to be anything he wants, with any super quality of his choosing. However, he can't control exactly where he ends up, and he can't return until he dies in the universe he ends up in, or can find the same item he used in the original universe to get there. This... ability signifies the entirety of my stupidity and wonder pertaining to existence. What could have happened and what will, if there really are other "me"'s what would they be experiencing and what would they be like, what humanity is in other contextual situations and the like. It also gives him insight into the fourth wall, but that's an entirely different thing and has almost no bearing on his significance to me other than my own self-evaluation. So yeah...
That guy in a nutshell.

My OC/Whatever is just some character I drew in MS Paint.
But then he fit perfectly.
