I try to look at the best in people because this is a harsh world and what I said is a figure of speech.
I'm trying to say that people are more easily to remember you for the bad things you've done than the good things.
It's a golden rule for the aircraft mechanics I've worked with. Any mistake (breaking rules, causing mechanical failures, faulty interpretations of the manuals or simply not using them) I make is carried with me for AT LEAST 5 years. Literally, written on my license. Black on white.
But I've learned that this rule can be put to practice outside of work even better.
Just think about it. If people would remember every bad thing you do for five years and every good thing for barely a day...
I remember your first spamming period as if it was yesterday, but the reminder you gave me in Twatter Story is likely to be completely forgotten within a few days.
Does this not make any sense to you? And if it does, why not try to better yourself?
