Eh, the love2d forum's idea is much better. 'obey' is easy to work into any avatar, which makes it seem less like an organised thing. If everyone has the helicopter thing, anyone will just come and see that it's a forum theme or something. The 'obey' thing did get me at first, I was really confused.

thank you, and not sarcastic, im italian so I never speak english in real life, the only times I use english is on the internet, so I dont have to know how every word is spoken to use it(even if I actually know how most of the words are spoken). Last time I spoke english in real life was like...almost 10 years ago.

I was always ahead of English class and finished it with high grades a half year earlier compared to the rest of my class.
I think it's because of the fact that I was constantly surrounded by the English language my entire life.
English cartoons and TV when I was a kid, English games, English books and magazines and so on.
Although I don't master speaking it as much.

How are you gonna play English games without learn English at school?

I never had english lessons untill I was 11, all the english I've learned before that was through videogames like Castle Of Terror on the C64, Flashback on the SNES, and other games in which the story or the instructions were important to play the game, vocabulary in hand translating everything, slowly learning what i needed to know. Later on music helped a lot.

It's nearly impossible to actually learn to speak any language from taking a class. I've taken Spanish for 3 years in grade school and 2 years in high school, and I still can't actually speak it. That's because immersion is the only way to learn a language. You learn to talk when you're a baby because everyone around you speaks your language. It's easier to pick up on someone saying "chair", and then sitting on a chair than to have someone tell you what the word for chair.

It should say something about yourself aside from 'I like this picture'.
Like mine, which says that I like to sit in awkward position on random toilets.

Anywho, I also like the idea of the 'obey' stuff like they did on the Love2D forums. But it has to be original and easy to add to any avatar.
I'd suggest something like 'not-name', as in Not Tetris and Not Pacman. Maybe give every character triple hats, or just a top hat (maybe the one from Mari0)...
