I'm not sure if the final version of Not Pacman is gonna be like this, but in the beta its in first person, has high quality realistic graphics and all the ghosts are famous politicians that have passed away. And yes, there is a physics engine, the dots are actually bouncy balls that you have to follow around the maps, they bounce very realistically.

Basically, a common server is used to establish and redirect each client to connect to each other. Since the connection with the server is already allowed most residential NAT routers/firewalls allow it to happen.

Basically the cloud should not move to the right side of Mario unless Mario is scrolling the screen to the right in which case it should move slightly to the right side of Mario, when Mario is running the cloud should move even closer to the right edge of the screen. When the screen is being scrolled the cloud should accelerate towards the right at a slower speed then the currently implemented speed to give the player a chance to stomp it before it reaches too far to the right edge of the screen.
