[Forum Suggestion] Main Post Edited Notifiy

I just thought this is something that we really need. Something on the forums that tells us when the main post was last updated.
So, for example, as some of you may know, I'm making a hat thread. Whenever I make a new hat, I post an update. If people don't post during the time it takes for me to make a new hat and post a update, it seems like I'm double, triple, and even quadruple posting, when really, I'm just giving updates, because when you edit the main post, it doesn't assign the post as "unread" for other users.
So, what I'm suggesting, is for when the main post gets edited, it goes back to the top of the list of threads. However, this can be easily abused. So, my other suggestion, which I think you will agree on, is the make the post Blue, like this:
So that way, for example, when I make another hat, people will know, and that way I don't have to be a double, triple, or quadruple poster.
Also, there can be a option once you're finished editing the main post, you can make the blue not appear, for example, if you misspelled something.
So, what do you think?

I think that you can either update in chunks or just double/triple post. It's not that bad to do so if you're doing something worthwhile with each post.

That seems like an awfully complex way to overcomplicate deleting last post and posting again or using the bump feature.
And it's not something we really need, it's something you really need. Though you don't really.

In the forums rules: If your thread is inactive, you can use the board's Bump Thread feature, which is available after 3 days of inactivity in the lower left corner of the page.

I never saw it ever. I don't think it ever existed, or else Saso wouldn't have mentioned it. Or maybe Maurice deleted it.

It existed before, 100% sure. I've seen it and seen people use it

In my "Pop A Portal" mappack's topic (where the last post was in June 14th) it is shown at the bottom of the page. So it is still working. But maybe they extended the "non-activity" time of only 3 days. Maybe...

This one is over a year old.
No bump button.

Well, I guess I never thought of deleting my last post, and then making a new one. I did already know about the Bump feature, though.
I guess this is useless.

I think the thread either has to be yours or you posted last for it to work

To bump, it has to be your own. I just checked.TripleXero wrote:I think the thread either has to be yours or you posted last for it to work

Jony, you can only bump your own topics, and you didn't make the Site <-> forum links topic.

It's either a glitch or intentional, but the last person to have posted in a topic can also bump it.
