Mari0 wont start

Okay, I am running on a windows7. however, everytime I try to run mari0_1.6.exe, it loads for 3 secs, then it comes up that mari0_1.6 has stopped working, and then it says: Mari0_1.6 has stopped working. a problem caused the program stopped working properly. program will be closed, and you will be notified when the problem is resolved. any help plz?

We'll need your hardware specifications. If you're unsure how to get them, just use this program: http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download/standard

But before that, make sure everything, especially graphics drivers (if you don't install them manually, a fairly recent version should be available in Windows update under Optional) is up to date.

My graphics driver is okay. how do I use the program? OMG the program crashed!

Well then, open start menu and in the search bar enter dxdiag
open it and then make a screenshot (or copy the data) from the first and the second (display) tab.

I am having a similar problem, and I am running Windows Vista. I have also tried the other games here, as well as löve 0.8.0 framework, all with the same result. I have reinstalled the files, to no avail, and I have searched for a solution, but have found none. My PC is up to date, and I can find no problem with any of the files.
