Invalid access to memory location with every game

i cannot start any Stabyourself game throwing an error:

LoadLibrary failed with error 998: Invalid access to memory location.

i'm on windows 7 SP1 x64

have you installed love 0.8.0? What are your computer and video card specs?

Make sure absolutely everything is up to date. If that's the case, try using this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833620

It's for Server 2003, but the hotfix should work fine regardless.

If it doesn't help, post all your system specifications.

everything is up to date i've installed love 0.8 and for some reason i cannot download that hotfix. the hardware won't be the problem i ran not tetris on this computer before without any problem but there were a windows reinstall and a bunch of ms updates since then. i searched for it and i found some articles about how problematic this LoadLibrary() function is especially this one: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7693 ... y-location i don't know however if this is the case with the stabyourself games or love
but there's the specification: intel core i5 2.5 ghz, radeon hd 5470 with 1gb vram, 4gb ram, windows 7 sp1 x64
