I posted this originally on Facepunch but I think it's worth repeating.

All of the convenience is also the reason I don't intend to use contactless payment - though to be fair there are reasons for it to exist, like as a replacement for a bus/subway/train card like Suica or something similar.
I know this sounds a lot like "old man yells at cloud", and I might be a bit old fashioned, but especially if you're not exactly rich, do not make paying convenient for yourself. There's usually options of refunding stuff without reason, especially stuff you order online (at least in the EU that is), but that's not something that people who buy on impulse ever advantage of. Not that they should impulse buy in the first place.

10.000 SIT was the biggest available banknote - around 42 €. Having a bunch of those in your wallet felt like you were either gonna buy something big or just asking for trouble.Life pro tip: NEVER make paying convenient for yourself. You will soon lose the feeling for the value of money, especially is you use a credit instead of a debit card.
For me, Paypal is the sole exception, but I don't use one-click-payment anything and manually enter a password.
When we changed from Slovenian Tolars to Euros, it completely warped the perception of money for everyone (to be fair, prices went up a lot too, but not by that much.
Before then, having 5000 SIT in your wallet was a lot and it felt like you had some solid cash to use - I honestly felt a bit off if I had more than that much in my wallet.
In actuality, 5000 SIT is 20,86 € and nowadays you feel like you have nothing if you don't have at least double that in your wallet.
There's also something to be said about the prices not having VAT included in the US to not exactly help the issue of perception of value, but that's kinda an entirely different topic.

Sooooo...
Is anybody gonna talk about the Switch presentation?
Because, well, holy shit. Skyrim is on this thing, a new Mario game, Splatoon 2 and LoZ: BotW were shown off, a whole heap of controller stuffs and 3rd party support.

Why would Nintendo put one of Disney's most loved characters dying in Splatoon? :(

I imagine it's a statement about how the consumerist machine of licensed products "kills" characters.

There are versions because, well, they are different versions. One has a bunch of topics and the other one has a bunch of different ones.

No honey, the shitposts started happening when you showed us a picture of a squid girl taking off her underwear with a giant MSPaint circle over her crotch, proving to us how 'jaded you are' or something.Villager103 wrote:And here comes another page filled with more shitposts.
