Maybe the fact Hasbro's trying to get back to its original audience is making it better?

I guess it is, since it was better from what I've been expecting.
The only part where it just kinda blew it was
*Spoiler!* almost at the end, when Sunset was going to finish off Twilight, the main 6 got together, and then suddenly, magic protected them *Spoiler!*
After that it was pretty good.

My god.
Votes for Sundae as official canon character in MLP; +1
Not really, but holy mother of Hezeus, that is absolutely adorable.

Wow. That's amazing...
I can't spend more than $20 on a plushie, though.

I think she's roughly the same size as my Derpy plush, which stands at about 30cm/11.8inch/1foot-ish.
Perhaps Sundae may be a little taller.
A good huggable size regardless.

If I ever sacrifice enough of my god-level manliness long enough to be a plushie, it would have to be the same size as me.

Oh man that looks amazing but a $1000? That's 5 more times more than what I can make in 3 months.
That looks cool and all, but there's no way that should be worth $1000. Maybe $500 at the most, not counting shipping costs.

Oh, and it's confirmed there's going to be a small MLP reference in Terraria 1.2.
Meet Party Girl. (Yes, it's based off who you think it is.)
She will sell Paint and Fireworks.
(Now that you know who she is, you will never look at her the same.)

And part of the Terraria community will now make a mod to replace Pinkie Pie I MEAN Party Girl with some other character with a new name.
Well, someone will at least. I know I won't care about it. (I need to play Terraria again)

You sound like my friend when he talked about horses in minecraft.idiot9.0 wrote:And part of the Terraria community will now make a mod to replace Pinkie Pie I MEAN Party Girl with some other character with a new name.
"They're adding horses and I swear someone's going to make a My Little Pony mod which make all the horses look like ponies."
He's not an aaaaa.
There's already a mod that makes players into ponies, so...
Honestly there's some sort of pony mod for pretty much every game.

Everyone will tell you different things of what you should watch and what not.
But to everyone his own.
If you want to give it another shot I would recommend:
Season 2 Episode 1 and Season 2 Episode 2 (a two parter though).
Still pretty much my favorites.
I'm not forcing anything on you, it's your call. But sometimes this show can get quite a bit different than what you'd expect (like how Lesson Zero actually kind of freaked me out).
But yeah, you're right with the fact that it can get quite a bit girly, but that's to be expected from a cartoon for little girls.
I learned to look past it and even sometimes quite like it. But that'll be different for everyone.

I personally, feel the exact opposite of Jorichi.
I would advise never starting with a Season start or finish.
My reasoning:
Those are the episodes that have a major plot most of the time.
The show is made for little girls, so if you go into them not already loving the shows, you typically see a child show.
I'd start with a middle episode. That way, you get to learn the characters and love them (Twilight is best pony).
They are really relatable (everybody relates to at least one)
They fit personalities great, without being boring.
You've got a nerd, a shy pony, a show off athlete, a hard working pony, you've got a fashion freak, and a random pony.
They have over-the-top personalities, which makes the show interesting, but they stay relatable if you fit into that category.
The middle is the best because you learn characters and that is what it is revolved around.
The finales and starts are good if you know their personality and want to see how it moves the show.
My first episode was Griffin the Brush Off, and my second was Find a Pet.
Both good episodes.
Tell me which personality you liked best, and I'll give you a good episode to start on.
I'd wait on Jorichi's favorite episodes for now, though.

I would recommend starting from the actual beginning. That's what I did, and what I've always done, since if I start through the middle of a season, I probably won't know who anyone is, or what are they referencing to.
And also what Jorichi said. If you can learn how to see the good things out of anything, you may end up liking it.
Because we didn't keep watching the show because of the ponies. It was because of the content.

I almost left at the beginning. That was my third episode.
Not a great place to start.

I guess I started watching the show from Memes popping up on the Internet.
I decided to take a look at the show.
I thought It would only take a few minutes of my precious time*.
~9 hours later~
I swear, something was controlling me against my will to keep watching it.
Something about it, from the cuteness, to the well-animated...ness, good shows don't come around often as they should, even for one directed towards little girls.
That or it's all Lauren Faust's fault, I watched FHfIF and tPPG all the time when I was a little kid.
*1. By time I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
@Firaga,
You've just described what happened to me. There were so many memes around the internet and pictures of ponies and I was all like "PFTTTTT, WHAT IS GOING ON, BRB WATCHING HOW STUPID THIS MAY BE". Before watching it I was afraid of doing the most ridiculous thing in my life. Well then, I've watched it from the first episode of the first season because that's how you start a series.. -.-
I didn't like the beginning, due to the lameness of Nightmare Moon and rainbow powers, friendship blah blah blah.. But after those episodes, it got interesting.
And that's pretty much what happened to me. I'm not really OBSESSED over ponies, I won't try to shove them in any person's face. (like some aaaaaaa do, not the case on this forum). Also, I really like the art-style and the animation.

I always like to read how people got to viewing this show.
I for one noticed the memes, image and general hype on the internet about the show. So me and my curiosity decided to look what the fuss is all about.
The first thing that amazed me or took my attention right from the start was the style of animation, I really liked it.
That is what actually got me to continue watching, as I wasn't thrilled by the first episode. So I kept watching and then I noticed the thoroughly developed characters and their voices. This all put together made me sit through Season 1.
It was around the time Season 1 was at an end and Season 2 was about to air.
Then Season 2 episode 1 and 2 aired and I was hooked.
Btw, the reason I advised WaryLuka Season 2 ep 1 and 2 is because of this. He already saw an episode and will know the general jist of what it's all about.
It's more of how to form an idea of the show to see whether or not you will like it or not. If he liked this I would advise him to sit through the show from beginning to end if he would think his time is worth it.

I got kinda bored one day and MLP was floating around all over the Internet. Personally, I like the stuff that the fandom makes more than what the actual show makers do.

I would say that one of the mayor reason why the show ended up being how it is was because of Lauren.Firaga wrote:That or it's all Lauren Faust's fault.
Also, I was just looking for random music videos on Youtube, when I saw this video.
I was like what ponies why. So curiosity got to me, and I clicked it.
After listening to the song about 20 times (literally), I looked up the show's fans, and found the fanart and the fanfics, and I was impressed.
I then came back to the video, and posted a comment saying that just because of this video, I will start watching the show, but since it was late at night, I decided I could watch it in the morning.
After I woke up, I came back to my comment, and it was the most liked comment on that video with over 100+ likes.
I then started watching it and really liked it.
(Also if you're wondering where the comment is at, it must be either one year of comments back, or deleted by Youtube)
