HugoBDesigner wrote:Guys, I talked to Cake a bit, and we decided that I'll redraw the 8th page of my comic subset, so it can all fit in a single timeline. I'll make Victinistar's mask broken, and in this new idea he'd returned from the underworld to the cafeteria searching for me, and then we went together to the underworld. I'll make the redrawing as soon as possible. So, remember this: Victinistar's comic and my comic happen at the same time, but just with different points of view.
It took a long time because I'm very lazy, but I finally updated the 8th page of my super-giant-comic-subset-thing to fit nicely in the timeline. Here it is:
Also, I started doing it a long time ago. When it was a small tower it was nice to make, but now? It's WAAAY harder than I ever thought. I'll try to get that, but, even if I do, I can't guarantee that it'll look as nice as your drawings...
This thread is still a thing because we still plan to finish the story. It's just that there is too much to draw and, except for me and Imaginary Cake (and Victinistar a bit), no one seems to be interested in continuing this. We've planned the end already, but we just needed someone else to help with the next iteration of the tower (which I tried to make myself but failed). If someone else wants to make a tower iteration, just PM me or Cake about the details.
Please forgive me if I sound like a complete asshole but...
It should have ended with the comic about giving that cake to Sundae and chasing after the Yoshi. It was a more fitting ending and anything that happened after it that I've seen just is becoming way too stupid. Art-wise it looks great and everyone who's contributed has great skill, but seriously it's just becoming this clusterfuck that I have the displeasure of knowing I had some contribution of starting up.
Again sorry if I sound like an asshole or "anti-fun" but you guys are no longer beating a dead horse. You're beating a skeleton, and you broke all the bones and have yet to stop.
That is not the ending, it left a big gap between what we have so far and what MM102 made. The "events" on his comic happens only 3 months after the story itself. There are still unexplained things like how we defeated Kiashi or what happened to the secondary characters. To be honest, there isn't much left to be made or shown, but we (by we I mean mostly me, Imaginary Cake and Victinistar) would really like to "fill out" these gaps before calling it done.
About what you said, no, you didn't sound like an asshole not like an "anti-fun" person. You just gave your opinion ;)
Honestly, I just drew to be humorous.
Like with Turret, who always gets the short end of the stick.
Or how LF would forget to fill FLUDD with water.
Or how B-Man would make a comment about smelling deep, dark A-- for awhile.
Or how the Costinteo sun would rival the Trist moon.
It's what I find funny, and I'm fine if you guys don't find it comical.
Yes, it's an overextension of a joke, but everyone sitting on the horse is not my joke.
It's what happens around it / because of it.
(To be honest, I thought that Hugo and Victinistar were taking it too seriously...)
It is kind of silly that it went from a random idiotxjorichi idiot riding Sundae drawing to a full fledged story about defeating a half-demon so to prevent him from killing Sundae.
But you know, it doesn't really matter.
I mean, if they want to do it, let them.
(And honestly I'd join and help but I can barely even keep my Tumblr updated)
Did someone say overextending a joke this is equivalent to yelling my name on a mountaintop I swear
Also you said "we have closure" who exactly has Closure I mean not everyone has Closure I may have Closure though it is a very fun Indie puzzle/platformer focused on using light to enable and disable the existence of walls and objects I believe it was also featured in a Humble Bundle a while back okay I'm done overextending

I think
Is that a photo of a game of sequence we played that one time
No, Turret you do not get a mansion. You only got about $25 then went downtown, got a magician's costume, then acted like a big snob in front of everyone even though the sack you had was filled with potatoes.
I can't tell if that was the start to an epic Shakespearean speech or the rambling of someone who has given up on syntax.
Maybe it is truly profound. Who knows?
I made this just incase.
