Okay I just want to say that I have such an understanding and a much higher appreciation for anyone that has to moderate chats and forums and such. I love doing it, especially since the steam group chats are with friends from such an awesome community. Every once in a while it can be really freaking hard though. Today was just one of those days. This is actually a really good example of the things I do when I'm not paying attention in math class since I don't need to.
I've also tried to figure out whether the recycling bin sign was paradoxical or not, and made a list of every chord progression I have ever used in a song.

I've done legitimate math stuff too though. Must have spent at least 10 hours over the course of the past 2 years doing random crap with my calculator trying to figure out math formulas and shit on my own without anyone telling me them.

I guess I'd talk about which ones I've found on my own and how I did it if anyone was interested; unless there are other uber-math-geeks out there that would actually want to hear about it. I guess it wouldn't be too surprising since quite a few of you are into computers and programming.

I mean there's always been the occasional problem but community is going down more and more. It seems to get progressively worse every week... now today is just ridiculous

Maybe because more and more people are using Steam. All servers are always becoming bigger after time and because time is now, you can't blame Valve.

You managed to say "maybe" though so at least you sounded a little less wrong this time.
That is completely inaccurate though; I doubt more people using steam (which has had over 6 million users every day for like a long time) would cause something this serious. Even if that was the case it would ultimately be Valve's fault, since it's Valve's servers, but I didn't even say that to begin with...
