I have a better solution:
-No t.version (That way it will never display the message)
Put these at the beginning of main.lua:
-love.graphics.drawq = love.graphics.draw (That's actually what Maurice did for mari0 SE)
-love.filesystem.enumerate = love.filesystem.enumerate or love.filesystem.getDirectoryItems
-love.graphics.setDefaultFilter = love.graphics.setDefaultFilter or love.graphics.setDefaultImageFilter
That way, it don't "lag" at all(Even the function solution shoudn't introduce lag).

What I did was making a 0.8.0 work on 0.8.0 AND 0.9.0. What you're suggesting is mostly to make a 0.8.0 work on 0.9.0 (the love.graphics.drawq thing, for example). And, about the t.version, since the game works only with 0.8.0 and 0.9.0, I still want it to show the message in other versions (0.7.2, for example).

But the way you did is a lot more practical if I were trying to convert from 0.8.0 to 0.9.0 :)

So every single valentines day since at least 5th grade I have been out of school. A snow say, a doctors appointment, and also being sick a few times (no not love sick hur hur hur). I wasn't feeling sick this week and I didn't have a doctors appointment so it "had" to be a snow day, assuming that the pattern continued.

But my situation is that we don't talk frequently mostly because we don't have time (we talk before the class), and we don't even go in the same way while returning home. But when we DO talk we talk A LOT, about A LOT of things. She comes to talk to me and it's visible that she's being REALLY nice to me. I mean, I'm "nerder" in real life than here (1500% nerder, actually). At first I thought she would, you know, start avoiding me because of my "weirdness", but turned out that she became my only friend in my English course. She does a lot of things that I like, she's really beautiful, intelligent, creative and talented. I'm just a nerd that knows computers, games and draws Portal 2 stuff.
