On Wednesday, my sister took our dog out to the backyard to do her business until she noticed that she just stopped and was crying in pain. She took her to the animal hospital to find out that one of her vertabrae was broken and her bones were brittle. We couldn't do a surgery because it was too expensive and really risky. On thursday night, we had to put her down...
This is the first time I've lost someone close to me, and it's a terrible feeling especially considering that she's been with me for 14 years and my birthday is on the second of February and I'm having a party tomorrow.
I know people here don't know me very well, but I just needed to vent so that I can make myself feel better about this whole thing.

This was amazing. That basically sums up Homestuck in a nutshell. I lost track of all rationality and understanding of what was going on in act 4. I kept reading anyway though because it was so funny. Almost as funny as... well... basically all of your posts. Because even Homestuck can't top these. This just made my day.

I updated both of them, my PC got laggy and started to beep, then i unistalled one of the Adobe programs (update 12, i think), and then it stopped being laggy, but the beeping didn't stop.

Most likely it's an overusage of all the collective memory being used up (cpu, ram, etc). If it's this, just terminate processes that are using lots of memory, or shot down.

However, the beeping might be a Beep Code if the computer boots up and the beeping starts. These are to help diagnose problems. Count the spacing between each beep. Pay close attention to the number of beeps, if the beeps are long or short and if the beeping repeats or not. There is a big difference between a "beep-beep-beep" beep code and a "beep-beep" beep code.

Each manufacturer has different meanings for beep codes.

If you're not sure who the motherboard Manufacturer is,here.

If you're really concerned about your computers safety in the future, scan with Malware-Bytes Anti-Malware. a Quick Scan should do it, but if nothing comes up, Full Scan. If thousands pop up, don't worry, 1 000 detections isn't that many compared to a highly infected computer. Infections these days are usually keyloggers, or in rare cases Fake Anti-Viruses. Avast! or Avira are the best free Anti-Viruses imo, Norton Free, Kaspersky Free, and AVG Free are all shit.

Second, I recommend getting Web of Trust if you haven't already. It helps avoid those nasty sites. Others can rate on the sites, Green = Good, Red = Bad.

Finally (and this isn't a necessity, but it helps with fake-'you've got mail' ads) is AdBlock. It helps with those shady pop-ups and ads.

Motherboard speaker beeping only happens under the following conditions:
1) POST is sucessfull (usually 1 beep)
2) POST failed (combination of beeps or not beeping at all)
3) If the motherboard has a case open detection and it has been opened (depends on manufacturer)
4) Overheating alarm is enabled and the CPU/other fan sensor is over the limit set in the BIOS (usually alternating beeps).

To me it sounds like normal speaker beeping, not motherboard speaker beeping. But if it is, then you should probably clean out your heatsinks.

Not, the "hard drive management" option doesn't show them up.

It all started when I plugged my iPod into my computer and had it sync with some music to put on it.
When suddenly...

So I say to myself 'odd, that's never happened before. probably just my computer having a brain fart, everything will be good when I restart!'
So I restart without the iPod in it. Started out fine, then I plugged my iPod back in.
Blue screen of death! ~nyaaa x2
I thought about it, and around the same time it took from sync to crash is around the same for both, so I'm going to try it again after letting the machine run to make sure it isn't the iPod.

So at this point, I'm going to experiment if plugging the iPod in now crashes or it runs fine, wish me luck.

It all depends on what format the secondary drives were in (NTFS, FAT32, EXT4).
You could try and see if a different OS like Linux could see it for starters or plugging it into a different system.

You could try reformatting it if you have no other options.

Not much I can help you with here, as I haven't experienced this firsthand, and there's probably some important things about your machine you haven't told us or know about.

I do hope you understand that the "blue screen of death" isn't just a blue screen and actually contains lots of useful words, including the cause of the problem. Try googling whatever it says the main fault is if you don't understand it.

On a side note, I'm learning C++.

Although it's a strong language, it's a compiling language so it's not easy for beginners (I'm gonna go ahead and plug lua+love2d as the dream team real quick).

Yeah. I've spoken to a lot of people and they have said that Lua+love2d is easily the best way to start learning programming for beginners and stuff like that.
