The realistic zombie survival game.

If it doesn't fit elsewhere, it should go here

Since you were derailing topics with zombies I made up this game. Basically, you have to point out a realistic reason why the last person's zombie defense wouldn't work. We're assuming the zombies can climb and break down weak doors and walls but are stupid and incapable of teamwork. I'll start.

I get a group to a supermarket with some heavy blunt objects to fend off the zombies with.

Awesome, I like this game already! xD
Most supermarkets have large glass windows so the zombies can see you and easily break the glass. The noise of glass shattering (maybe even the alarm went off?) and your group fighting them with their blunt objects attracts more and more. Eventually you'll get outnumbered and cornered.

But then one of those people take out a flame shooter and starts to throw flames at the zombies.
Me gusta :)

You're meant to post a new idea to stay alive after discrediting the last person's.

No, you're meant to state how the last person dies. That's the whole point of the game.
Jorichi just needs to come back and come up with a plan to survive.

Oh, I see. My bad.
Here is how I would defend myself.
I would fortify my position in a metal hangar. Using various tools to defend myself and stock up on food. I'll start an aircraft to defend myself if the huge metal doors can't hold anymore.

I have 2 survival plans. One for short notice and one if impending zombie doom was known about weeks or months in advance. Can I post both?

I don't think it's a problem if you clearly show a significant difference between the two.
Btw, I'm a master at survival! Maybe the metal hangar is starting to rust? xD

Jorichi first wrote:I would fortify my position in a metal hangar. Using various tools to defend myself and stock up on food.
Although you may be able to gather tools to defend yourself from 1-4 zombies, it is unlikely you would be able to defend yourself from an attack of multiple zombies once they got through the metal doors. it's inevitable that the zombies would keep piling up until the doors or walls gave way. Jorichi= zombie snack
Jorichi then wrote:I'll start an aircraft to defend myself if the huge metal doors can't hold anymore.
After starting the aircraft, you would eventually run out of fuel, in the air or not. If on the ground, you might be able to use the propeller as a zombie slicing/dicing machine, but you would eventually run out of fuel. If you planned to take flight, when the zombies managed to get into the hangar, it is unlikely they would have managed to open the door wide enough for you to get the aircraft through. The zombies would pile up and eventually the roof of the airplane would cave in, the glass wold break and then Jorichi= zombie lunch.
But, for the sake of argument, we'll say you did happen to escape from the hangar, and had managed to take off. You would have to land sooner or later because it is certain that you would have run out of fuel during flight. even if you managed to find an island it is unlikely you would be able to land because of the terrain.

____My plan_____
Had there been a warning long enough in advance I would...
take refuge on a large boat with:
1.) Many fresh fruit and vegetable bearing plants with plenty of seeds for the next few years. If necessary, I would manually pollinate them myself.
2.) A compost/waste collection area
3.) Large tubs for holding salt water with concave covers and separate containers in the middle
---Being on a boat, the zombies would not be able to reach me as they would not be able to figure out how to swim and would not be able to reach the boat if they walked along the bottom of the ocean. If I found water deep enough, it is likely they would be crushed from the amount of pressure

The plants and compost/waste collection area would work hand in hand. Bits of dead plants and unused portions of fruits/vegetables would go in to be composted along with any human waste.(A bit disgusting, but hey, zombies. What are you gonna do, right?) the resulting compost would be used to grow the fruit and vegetable bearing plants.

The water in the containers would evaporate and condense on the covers and drip downward towards the center into containers in the middle. This water would be used for drinking and watering the plants.

If the warning was short notice..
1.) get to the local hotel
2.) raid the kitchen and bring supplies to upper floors
3.) find maintenance closet and take toolbox with screwdrivers and a sledgehammer
4.) take off all unnecessary internal doors
5.) use doors and screws from door hinges to block all external exits
6.) go to next floor and as going up staircase, use sledgehammer to destroy staircase. Repeat as necessary for all other staircases.
7.) huddle in corner rocking back and forth hoping that help will arrive soon (optional)

(Might be full of holes.. I would reread, but I hurt my brain just coming up with that stuff)

Uh oh, your boat wasn't built sturdy enough and you drowned.

I'd steal some invincibility stars from Mario's secret stash. Zombies touch me, and they're dead.

FIne, I'll post an idea.

Keep killing zombies with a totally OP weapon and armour, then level up til you ascend to GOD TIER.

Oh no, you ran out of ammo!

Hmm...you are a zombie. That way you're a companion to the rest of the zombies and won't get killed by them. Yay, happy ending!

As obvious as it sounds, you didn't survive it then...

I go to American (Canadian Walmarts don't have guns) Walmart and barricade the doors.

Canada's part of America! North America, anyway.
If you mean the US, I wasn't even aware of that, lol. I live in L.A. though, lethal weapon laws are much more strict in California than other states. I've always wanted a butterfly knife but I wouldn't be able to use it here :(

Since you didn't, I'll post a tactic: Wait for the zombies to decompose in the horrible heat/snow.
