They're (Industrial) pipes!
Do you guys want to see more tiles from me?
Leave answers I guess.
Thanks Qwerty!QwertymanO07 wrote:They look great!
Ok, that makes more sense. But still cool to know that Nintendo was able to do THAT back in 1985.Superjustinbros wrote:Correction: While it is true that there are only 52 colors available, certain games can apply "tints" to the screen or specific segments of it to alter the colors displayed.
On that screen the tints are Untinted, Blue, Purple, Red, Olive, Green, Teal, and Grey.
Not too many NES games even use screen-tinting exploits; but there definitely are a few out there.
Even then these "Color Demo" roms use exploits to be able to display every color on the NES' palette at once.
If you mean SMB: Lost Levels, then yeah, there are tiles of that game:sdslayer100 wrote:Don't know if one is here already. I request an SMB2 Japanese version Tileset. For a mappack.
Or if you want more colors:
Also, you can look for the tiles in this thread by using the bar below the thread title:
Yes! thank you so much!!!!QwertymanO07 wrote:Like this?
Yeah, that will take only around 5 seconds (including loading) ....QwertymanO07 wrote:Okay, because I literally just used a filter.

This looks incredible! Great job! Keep up the good work!Xplodino wrote:Hello, people of the Stabyourself.net forum. I make a humble appearance to grant thee access to a fine arrangement of graphics called a "tileset".
Okay, enough with the posh talk. My name is Xplodino.
You may have seen me around these forums some time ago, for like a short duration of time. I promised you a mappack full of wacky dimensions, but alas, I did not deliver. i know all of you don't really care or are like "who the hell are you?" because you don't even know ANYTHING about me, but i also don't care
Anyway, here's a tileset I've been working on and am still working on! (It'll only work with Alesan99's Entities.)
Some things in this tileset are missing (like the some castle parts), but anything that is missing will be added in a later update.
Feedback [positive/negative] is welcome to this tileset!
Thanks for the feedback, man! Appreciate it.Squidish wrote:This looks incredible! Great job! Keep up the good work!
I could probably make a tileset for that. Also, if you download Paint.net, you can create your own tilesets easily.sdslayer100 wrote:Hi, I need a tileset for another world in a game. If anyone has made a desert tileset tell me. Also, if possible I would like a snow-type tileset.
Ok, I just don't know what I want them to look like. So I like to see what others will do.Villager103 wrote:I could probably make a tileset for that. The first thing I'm going to say is that those tiles were made for a different perspective and player scale, so they'll always be a bit off. Also, that background at the beginning looks a little compressed, so see if you can't find a replacement.sdslayer100 wrote:Anyone think this is worth continuing? It's pokemon. Look up "Pokemon Lavender Town" That's what its based off of.

Here, foran idea. Maybe like SMB3 style. as for the other thing. Yea, i was thing of having a ladder thing so mario canbe at the right perspective. Also, what are the background's dimensons?QwertymanO07 wrote:Here's some desert tiles I quickly made:

Now, this is far from completed, considering it doesn't have pyramids, cacti, miscellaneous debris, other desert stuff, or even portalable tiles—and the stones don't loop that well—but it's a good start, and should jog your creativity.

Why not just rip it from that game, then?sdslayer100 wrote:Here, foran idea. Maybe like SMB3 style.
That's movement pattern, not prespective. What I mean is that Mario is drawn from the side, while the Pokemon tileset is drawn from above.sdslayer100 wrote:as for the other thing. Yea, i was thing of having a ladder thing so mario canbe at the right perspective.
The resolution at scale 1: 400x224.sdslayer100 wrote:Also, what are the background's dimensons?
Because I would like to know if there are any fan made SMB1 desert tiles. Worst case scenario, I just paint all the original SMB1 tiles yellow.QwertymanO07 wrote:Why not just rip it from that game, then?sdslayer100 wrote:Here, foran idea. Maybe like SMB3 style.
Super Mario ReMaker made some. I ported them to Mari0 for you:sdslayer100 wrote:Because I would like to know if there are any fan made SMB1 desert tiles. Worst case scenario, I just paint all the original SMB1 tiles yellow.
Basically, I wanna try to keep the SMB1 style.
Thanks! I did some myself (literally just the default tileset but yellow-er) I'll use these in the next few levels.Squidish wrote:Super Mario ReMaker made some. Putting the pyramids together can be a bit of a pain, but it looks great in-game.
hey isint that super mario world? I have been working on one too! I know, its over another persons tileset but its the best I could do!MartinBott19 wrote:A very messy silhouette (please tell me i spelled it right) tree.
It's not that special
also it's in foreground tiles for SE
EDIT:

how they should look like
If u didn't notice it was actually images that i found from google then resize it to 64 x 64 then color it black (and also modify it a bit)
