Did anyone like Equestria Girls? I did not like it as much as I thought I would. But it was ok. Rainbow Dash is my favorite pony. She is perfect in every way shape or form. lol.

You know, I honestly don't see any good reason to filter the word  aaaaa .
If I remember correctly, they only filtered it either because people where spamming it at the time, or because they don't like that word being used to describe the fans (since it mixes up the normal part of the fandom with the excessively weird part of the fandom), or because of both.

That's not a really good reason if you ask me. Filtering that word would be like filtering the word furries.
I wouldn't even mind if they kept it that way or not though, I just really wanted to say this.

Sašo made a speech about it once
Sašo wrote:I hate that word. Oh, nothing wrong with the word itself, but outside the fandom, everyone uses the same blanket term for people who just watch the show every once in a while and also for the batshit insane ones that wouldn't think twice about dressing in pony fursuits and handing out flyers telling people to watch the show and then go to a LARP event where they do sword battles with horse dildos*. Also everyone in between.

And don't even get me started on running several inside jokes into the ground, the "conversion" crusades in the earlier days and the god awful horribly cringeworthy videos that appear every once in a while. I recall one being so horrible I had chest pains from the embarrassment just because it was bringing shame and embarrasment to so many other normal, quiet people. I wish I was kidding.

Back in the early days, it was the case of many to be a bit embarrased (in a good way, if that makes sense?) about watching the show, being waaaay out of the target demographic. I remember that when I told Maurice about the show I was threading extremely lightly, even though at the time I've known him for quite a while. That kind of attitude I miss of the general fandom population.

Of course, the reputation's tainted irrepairably by now. Only time will slowly patch it up.

*This is entirely hypothetical. I hope.
Good speech

Oh & I'm completely with Turret on the whole thing 'bout the first letter (in the recited letter order we know). Definitely not some kind of necessity of letters.

(OK tht ws rlly hrd to write)

It's still not a good reason though.
For me, I don't really care much if someone uses the word or not. It's just something that has never really irritated me.

To be honest it never really bothered me either, but there are definitely people who would hear the word "aaaaa" (AaAAaAaaaaAaaaAAAaaAA :P) and immediately think of some messed up stuff. As far as MLP goes, it is what it is. A TV show. If people are interested they can talk about it and do stuff that fans of things do, and if people aren't interested they can give it a try or they can just not be involved. Unfortunately some people don't see it like that, so if we just say what it is instead of using unclear names, no one is going to be upset over something as pointless to be upset about as a TV show/fandom. Some of us are big fans of MLP. Some of us are interested but don't particularly obsess over it. Others just aren't into it and that's cool too. The problem isn't with someone using the word. The problem is with someone else interpreting it.

I like the idea of unicorn more, because then the number of the different types are balanced, but she ain't bad as a alicorn. Also, I have only seen a few eps of S4.

Frickin. Kill. Me. Now.
I just watched the original my little pony. Fuckin stupid firefly.
Edit: OMFG! I just watched equestria girls. I thought I would die before. Now I think it was infinity to infinite power times better. But that doesn't really say something since I would have rated it 0.0000000001 out of infinity before. Best part was the intro song.

I dunno, cake. I dunno. Maybe you thought you'd find something that made you like ponies or something and you want to like MLP but can't because you just don't like it?
Or maybe it's just MUST-CHECK-ALL-THREADS-ITUS which I also have. (I like ponies, but for some reason I keep checking the keep beating the dead horse thread. Or whatever it's called.)

So there's a show called Wipeout which is some insane obstacle course challenge. A aaaaa was competing, and he gave the hosts a Vinal plush toy. :P He lost in the second round in seventh place.

If it's done right, then it's great. Same thing for most things. Like ponies+Fallout. It was done right in FO:E, but sadly, many spin offs of that were not done right.

I started reading Five Score today. Already gotten past RD, AJ, Big Mac, and Fluttershy and have started reading the second story arc thingy with Twilight, Shining, and (I think?) Pinkie.

This...

Now if you excuse me, I am going to read some crappy download of an HTML on some crappy reader.

Finally they arrived!

They came with dust covers but I don't like those. This looks much more fancy.
They're about 16cm wide and 24cm high, making them the perfect reading size.
Book 1 is part 1, 2 and 3. Roughly 4cm thick
Book 2 is part 4 and 5. Almost 4 and a half cm thick

These books are the second print. I don't know if they'll be doing more. But it's a story of ponies in a fallout-like setting, that's about all I know for now (someone else can probably inform you on that one).
This site is where they made the prints and the sign-ups to get them.
I'm pretty sure there is a link to the downloadable version there somewhere. Just look around or search google, you'll find it.
