My first console was a Wii, but that's not so old. But one of my first video games I ever played was either WiiPlay or WiiSports.

And after that, I got a DS lite. And the first game I played on there was New Super Mario Bros.
Not sure which GBA game I put into there if that counts, but either Superstar Saga, SMA-SMA4 (excluding SMA3) Yoshi's Topsy Turvy, or some game I forgot the name to but can kinda remember what it was- but still can't put my finger on the name.

Tell them to stop making stupid races and add Tuskarr as a playable race.
Wow, I never saw that.

He used to work on all games in general, but now he's specifically working on Starcraft 2.

I don't know much more than that, but he has been playing Diablo 3 for the past week.
A lot of Diablo 3.

My dad's got a cool job and I'm satisfied with that.

Mario Kart for the Nintendo 64. Because I was really young at the time (probably not even 3), I assume I didn't play it. But there's pictures of me playing it.

My first video game I've ever played? Legend of Zelda: OoT.
I remember that I was either five or six when I started playing it. My older brother just beat ganon, so I just played around on his file, switching back and forth from young link and old link. 'Twas fun back then.
I was also five or six when I was first introduced to ReDeads in the usual manner.
First time booting up as old link I never ventured out of the Temple of Time, mostly 'cause Death Mountain in the background made me go ''Holy Shit'', yet I somehow managed to not shit myself when I saw Death Mountain and I went into the town.
Saw ReDeads, same old story, pulled the power out of my N64.

That was my first video game for the N64, and it's still my favorite for that console to this day.

I think my first console was my DSi, which came with "Mario VS. Donkey Kong: Mini-land Mayhem". And my first video game (which was free technically speaking) was an emulated "Super Mario Bros.".

Very late to this thread... (Although I'm not quite sure if I've posted in here before)

Probably the Cars game for the Playstation 2. I was hooked.

I never gave a shit about Video Games until 2004. My little brother (6 yrs. old at that time) wanted my Mom to buy a Gamecube, Me (AGE REPELLED), wanted NOTHING to do with Game Consoles. I was an Arcade Gamer. I loved video games such as Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and other game you couldn't beat. I liked to play a game and not waste time with it. A game with no story, no point, no nothing. My Mother bought Nintendo Wii in 2007 (A year after it came out) and my brother LOVED IT. Every day was "Ping, Bonk, Ping, Bonk" on WiiSports. I hated it. Fast forward to 2009. I was a computer gamer. I nearly pirated downloaded any Arcade and NES game and used a special game controller if necessary. Any Arcade games you could find were nothing but shitty games you would find at Chunky Cheese. I noticed a game box on top of the couch and picked it up. The game was New Super Mario Brothers Wii. I popped the game into the Nintendo Wii because WTF not? I had to admit, it was fun playing a video game on bigger screen. Its kinda like switching from a DSi to 3DS XL. I still go on the computer from time to time so I can play Mari0 or Minecraft, but without a doubt, the Nintendo Wii and New Super Mario Brothers Wii was the best thing that ever happened to me in gaming. I have a Wii U right now and I love New Super Mario Brothers U and Super Mario 3D World. I download VC games on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, but I still wish I could have entered the Video Game console craze before the shitty remakes and so called "True to 8-bit graphic and sound effects with a nolstogic feel" indie games started being developed.

For the people who think TL;DR, the first Video game console and Console Video Game I ever played was New Super Mario Brothers Wii. Proud to play and proud to own! :D
