I love it! This is the best mario rendition/emulation I have everrrrrr seen in my life. Did such a superb, fantastic job!!!!
I hooked it up and am running it with screen size 5 with my xbox 360 controller, and am having the time of my life!!
2 suggestions to make it better:
1. In the control options, add menu function. Would love to be able to pause the game without reaching for my keyboard.
2. I have to ask this one, because this is by far, (even without the portal gun) the best rendition of Mario that isn't actually Mario that I've ever played.
Could you please add an option to play it without the portal gun? This small option would basically add the ability to play it authentically, as just a Mario game. And a mario game with all of these shader options, cheats, multiplayer, etc... Would be pretty sweet. The portal gun is great, but while playing through the single player regular mode, I rarely find myself using it, and find it somewhat distracting that I moonwalk every time I want to go left XD
