HugoBDesigner wrote:You probably have some mappack that requires a mod to run. Do the following:
1. Open your "%appdata% folder (open the "Run" program, type in "%appdata%" without quotes and hit enter).
2. Open the folder "LOVE", then "mari0".
3. Open your "options.txt" file.
4. Search "mappack" in the text. If you're using "Notepad" to open this file, just press "Ctrl+F".
5. There'll probably be something like this: "mappack:[some mappack name]". Remember the mappack name.
6. On your "mari0" folder, open the folder "mappacks" and search for a folder with a similar name to the one above.
7. Move this folder out of "mappacks" or delete it.
8. Open Mari0 again.
I'm 99,978% sure this will work. If doesn't, you can either move out the entire "mappacks" folder or delete it.
I hope I helped. And welcome to the forums! We hope you stay and like it

What "first thing" are you talking about? If you mean the first step i think it's because OSX doesn't use AppData or the Run program... Idk anything about ".love" or OSX so that's all i can say...
I had used a Mac for a few years regularly up until now, so I feel stupid over-seeing that.
The "Library" folder is sorta-kinda in the root directory of the Mac, so it isn't visible normally. The Library folder has a folder called "Application Support", which is sorta like "%appdata%" on Windows.
To get to Library, open a Terminal and type in
Then go to "Application Support", then find either the "LOVE", or "Mari0" folder.
Follow the rest of the steps by Hugo from there.

Can't you just press "M" on the Select Mappack screen, or does that not work on OSX?

There are two possibilities:
A) Your SMB mappack got corrupted somehow. In that case, try redownloading the game.
B) Your computer is haunted by poltergeists.
