Please. Help me

Mari0: SE keeps crashing upon load. I tried deleting all the characters and maps that I had and I still cannot load it. I in turn have had to downgrade back to 1.6. Just somebody, please help. 1.6 has barely any new maps to get nowadays and I also want to use custom characters. Somebody tell me what to do to fix it.

Could you post a screenshot of the crash? It will help figure out the problem.

I was getting this error a few days ago myself.
Open up your application data (get to that by pressing Start, and typing in "%appdata%" without the quotes), go to Roaming, LOVE, mari0_se, and delete the options.txt. Then, just reboot the game.
