Recolor the custom enemies

I want to recolor the custom enemies, but when i do it the sprite shows all weird, i use paint.net and i save the image has "8 bit" but the sprite is still weird can you help me?

What do you mean saving it 8-bit? I've never had to do this so that might be the problem.
"sprite shows all weird" isn't exactly a good description of the problem so do you have any examples?

Choose "Auto-detect"
8-bit doesn't make you image look like nes games it just reduces the image quality.

oh it works fine but my enemy doesnt stay on the ground he gets glitchy and falls into a invisible pit

I did something wrong coding the enemie?
