Wait then how did you sign up? stupid question
If you want you can PM me about it and I can email it, I'm bored and out of ideas anyway. Or just go on the IRC

Honestly though, thanks to Maurice and Sašo and everyone else that made this possible. I can't wait for everything to come! We've got some really great map makers in our community (even if I'm not one of them...)

Obviously it's the clock from Don't Hug me I'm scared 2.

Also, Mari0 SE is pretty fun and once we get all these bugs out of the way it'll be even better.

Got it booted up. Whatever graphic/color inaccuracies (and enemy/entity name errors) are present I can easily fix via modding. Kinda sad Infinite Worlds/Sublevels didn't make it in, nor any of the SMB2J stuff (that can be handled via custom enemies) or an extended SMB1 tileset (but that too can be done through modding, especially now that we can do animated tiles.)

Looks as if entity tooltips aren't present for every entity.

Just dreaming here, but I wonder if there's some way to port the features of the Better Level Editor into this. I miss E, Q, and Ctrl already.

Put another coin on top of it.

Couldn't agree more. I find myself habitually hitting 1 for an empty tile entity.

You could just middle click an empty tile.

If you place a coin on a tile without a coin it will act as a coin placer until you release the mouse. If you start on a tile with a coin already there it will act as a coin eraser until you release the mouse.

There was a sequel to that atrocity?

Where do I put the tiles.png? I've tried in the graphics folder, but it won't work.

Incase someone doesn't know, if you don't want to install 0.9.0 over 0.8.0, you can just download the 0.9.0 ZIP and drag the Mari0 SE file on the LOVE application

You can also do a dual-install of both 0.8.0 and 0.9.0 by changing its location in Program Files when you install it (something like LOVE9 will work). It'll start running everything in 0.9.0 by default, but you can change that back via "Choose default program."

I wonder if it would be useful to have the squarewave being toggleable by another input.

Super sexy beta 4
--newer version available--

- Fixed the example mappack
- Fixed the stys logo in some cases
- Fixed bowser
- Fixed coins in SMB mappack
- Fixed platforms in SMB mappack
- Fixed rightclicking the minimap on >15 height maps sending mario to the wrong position
- Fixed exiting test mode in a sublevel throwing you to the main level
- Fixed custom tiles

The original SMB pack should completely work now but it probably won't.

I can't seem to get collision to work on animated tiles. It only works on animated tiles that can be triggered.
I just want to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong.

You appear to be right.

Changelog _5
--newer version available--

- Fixed non-triggered animated tiles not updating collision and non-portalable properties properly
- Fixed mario going into idle position when jumping into screenboundary
- Made pipes unusable in editormode
- Fixed quitting test mode going to an empty level

Changelog _6

- Fixed setY animation crashing
- Fixed mousewheel sometimes crashing in the editor
- Put hatninja's skydiving map in there for the heck of it
- Also popcan's copy of the funnel puzzle

Maurice even added pony colors for backgrounds. How crazy.
Also, nevermind of the tower mappack. I am gonna make a mappack based on Sonic 2, and Sonic 1 zones.

Ponies? Not in my Mari0!
Feel free to call me out on this, but I actually despise aaaaaaa all because of those horsefuckers on 4chan; heck I enjoy antagonizing my mother because she's a pegasister.
Please keep the only MLP references to the Sonic Rainboom and the RD hat, and give us more useful colors that don't come in the coat colors of the Mane Six.

Okay, I apologize I took that a bit too far.

Not cool

Somewhat offtopic - See my next post for SE related things
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, you're really stereotyping a large group of people here. I don't know about "those horse****ers on 4chan" but *almost* all of the MLP fans I know are
1. Not nonstop talking about it
2. Really good people
3. Not obsessed or having any negative qualities due to the show

It's a goddamn TV show. Also, why are you so obsessed with colors? This probably came off as rude I was legitimately wondering

@Super Justin Bros: Okay. I'm going to forget about the part of this that doesn't have to do with Mari0, because this is the SE Beta thread
They're references. People that like the references enjoy it, and people that aren't interested in the reference move on. I don't watch a ton of MLP, but I appreciate the reference and move on. Okay?

Well, we already have four references to MLP, but sure.

What would be wrong with this palette?

Hey bro, I like that small bouncing ball. Is it supposed to be a bouncing Shy Guy mask that got frozen?
I'd really love to see Special's enemies get replicated into SE someday, or maybe some enemies based on stuff from hacks.

It's a rolling cloud. I'm making a mappack full of clouds and I hope to make at least 5 enemies for it.

I still have LÖVE 0.8.0 but I can easily run LÖVE 0.9.0 games. You just need to download the .zip version of it and move the file you want inside it. Yeah, I'm not very good with explanations...
