Software for recording Mari0?

Hello, Stabyourself Community!
I have another request: I'd like to record the window where Mari0 runs (for making walkthroughs, trailers , etc.). I tried using Cropper and the Screen Recorder from DVDVideosoft, but both return a very, very laggy output (about 0.25 - 0.5 FPS). Compared to the videos Maurice or other Stabyourself members produce - which don't lag at all - this Software appears not to operate as intended on Mari0. So I'd like to ask if you know a screen recording software which makes unlaggy videos.

Bandicam is what I used for recording the teaser level of Goomba Industries. I recorded it at 720 (I think, maybe even 1080. I can't remember) and had no lag what so ever.
Simply try some stuff out.

Thank you, but unluckily I own Windows XP, which isn't compatible with Open Broadcaster Software.

Yeah, but I use a pretty old notebook with an internal graphic card, so it lags on it (both gameplay and recording).

Fraps is pretty useful too. It's the one I always use, since it lags me less.

Thank you all for the quick replies!
I tried all of them, and Fraps lags the least, so I'll use it.

Just gonna say, this all depends on your computer's ability to run these things too and not just the quality of the program

I use an in-game recorder which renders everything frame-by-frame so they're always smooth.
Before that I used camstudio:

I've tried it, but Fraps still appears to work better on my computer (Furthermore, I've buyed its full version so I don't have any stupid watermarks, so that would have been sort of a waste of money). Anyway, thank you!

You can try to download this Screen Recorder. It is easy to record any activity on your computer screen, like streaming video/audio, presentation, Skype dialog, game process and so on.
