custom tiles on mac [Help]
It's the same procedure for Windows, as with Mac.
Also, you made two threads for this, don't know if on accident, internet lag spike, but delete it if you can.
Also, you would need a program with transparency.
I have no idea what programs there is for Mac that do transparency (I think GIMP does that, and is compatible), so your going to have to find one on your own, unless someone else knows a good program to use.

It's the same technique, with a few differences.
- - The mappack folder is located somewhere differently, but pressing 'M' at the title screen should bring you to it anyway.
- You would need a different program, one with transparency, like GIMP for Mac.
Gimp seems so complexFiraga wrote:It's the same technique, with a few differences. Then just follow the rules on the link Kami-wami gave you, and you should be set, keeping in mind the different folder location and whatnot.

You can't use a regular paint program. I don't know if the editor that comes with a Mac can use transparency or not.MegaHeash wrote:Gimp seems so complexFiraga wrote:It's the same technique, with a few differences. Then just follow the rules on the link Kami-wami gave you, and you should be set, keeping in mind the different folder location and whatnot.

GIMP and Paint.NET are pretty much the same, but different recommended platforms. I was a bit bugged out at first too, but you get used to it. It is now my default editor for images. Fuck around with the settings a little to get a feel for things, which is what I usually do.

Good luck. And if you think the tileset is good enough, there's a thread for posting tilesets. Here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2437

I might make a tutorial for people on Mac if one hasn't been made.
We'll see.
