I know I've asked about mazes before, but I had an idea about them and was wondering if this could be implemented:
What if being in a maze worked like being in a box made of giant portals? The see-through effect could show what's on the other side, and the portals could be reloaded with some sort of input (most likely the user would use a region trigger) to exit the maze. It could be one single entity instead of three, and its size could be adjusted with an interface similar to that of the region trigger. Having portals on the top and bottom could allow for vertical mazes, and some rather complicated mazes could be made utilizing all four directions. Since it uses an already-implemented part of the program, this new maze entity would be far less glitchy than the current one, and would work just as well; the only trouble I can think of would be at the corners.
Would this work?
