I know about adding non steam games to steam. But not everyone know.
And I think publishing through the workshop is easier than registering, uploading, making a topic...

Sorry for the late time but IT IS POSSIBLE, valve allowed a game called wormtal or something which is a basic copy of portal and valve allowed them to make an app out of it. Super Mario Bros is so old that i dont belive that its copyrighted anymore. Why dont just ask nintendo and valve? Or even make it an OFFICIAL game?
