Am I the only one who did this?
I used my character as the icon for the folder I keep the .exe file for Mari0 in.
I don't use my custom character, because I tend to use Mario's default colors, just with different hats.
I tend to use this little creation of mine for the icon, though.
(this is 1/4 scale of the original image, as the original would be a bit big for a post.)

Since I'm a bit scared to bump the mari0 colors thread, I'mma say it here because it makes sense:
I use regular colors, too, except for the hair. I made the hair græy because that's how it shows with the game genie code YEAAAA.idiot9.0 wrote:I don't use my custom character, because I tend to use Mario's default colors, just with different hats.

Bumping is better than posting irrelevant information to a thread.

Leaving a thread alone is better than scolding someone for posting irrelevant information to a thread.

My whole post was dedicated for you to learn what to do next time.
SuperDylan is already killing threads, so no use trying to save them.
If I didn't post, how would you learn?

I would do this, except for the fact that the folder icon somehow won't work. What is the best size for a folder icon?

Depends on your OS.OrbitalBlueprint wrote:I would do this, except for the fact that the folder icon somehow won't work. What is the best size for a folder icon?
Windows XP: 32x32
Windows Vista & 7: 64x64 or 128x128 (I think)
Windows 8: Probably the same as Vista and 7.
If you're using RocketDock or something similar, makes it 256x256, or 128x128 at least.

Can someone post a demonstration on how to customize my Mari0 icon?
How many people are going to bump this thread?

Get GiMP.
Export the image you want as an .ico file.
Right click a mari0 shortcut and click Properties.
In the first tab on Properties click 'Change Icon'.
Navigate to the .ico'
Click Ok.
You should now have the icon.
