Based on the Goomba blocks from the well-known Super Mario World hack Super Demo World: the Legend Continues:
I've decided to suggest special outline blocks that each allow a particular object through but are solid to everything else. Ditto:
The yellow M block allows only Mario/player characters through.
The peach Goomba block allows any enemy through.
The cream Fireball block allows only fireballs through.
Portals cannot be shot inside or through any of these blocks (even the M ones), and they are also non-portable. Portal entities are stopped by these tiles.

Basically just more grates? But for different stuff? That is nice.
I suggest a "L" that only player 2, 3 and 4 can go through.

Well would they suspend in mid air? And will mario get hurt if he touches one? And will they line up perfectly with tiles?Maurice wrote:You can create enemies that are 1x1 wide that are static and only collide with certain objects.
They won't block portals though.
I believe you can program it to do that. quick delete that post before Maurice calls you an idiot D:Superjustinbros wrote:Well would they suspend in mid air? Well, cubes should block it...Maurice wrote:Stop being stupid he wants the ability to make enemies block portals.
And no. I could make a tile that does this.
You can't shoot portals through cubes.
Thanks for your wisdom.BobTheLawyer wrote:Well, cubes should block it...Maurice wrote:Stop being stupid he wants the ability to make enemies block portals.
