Man, I can't wait until Mari0 SE comes out, because I was going to make a campaign that used up all the elements. There would be a unknown enitity that would be talking in the textboxes, and it would make use of every game mechanic known, such as the action blocks or th... actually, here's a suggestion, how about a setting which would allow for cubes to be emancipated by pressing a button, so that when you think you found the answer to the puzzle (Pressing the button) it would disingrate the cube and then spawn a new one in the cube dropper, unless you don't have one?

I dislike the idea. It is not featured in any portal game. It would allow you the chance to totally get stuck.

You can already do that by just linking a second button to the cube dispenser.

Unjustified opinion.

Invalid statement.

Weak reasoning.

In Portal (and in the current version of Mari0), pressing a cube dispenser button when a cube is in the field emancipates the one you last dispensed.
Also, emancipation grilles allow you the chance to get stuck as much as this idea does, as without some shoddy level design you're not going to be able to get to an area you need a cube to escape from and then be given a chance to get your cube out of that area without yourself.

I thought he meant a button of the keyboard.

You can only link one thing at the given time. It is already implemented in SE, though.
