Hi .
ok so first Maurice made the off-screen markers ( brillant )

how about we add the features that are in the Portal 2's Multiplayer ?
like showing a location to your partner ( so he can shot portals in that exact spot ? )
give orders ? let's say per ex : go over there , stand on the button ?
for those who played portal 2 multiplayer online , they understand what i mean $
for those who didn't watch this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqPclVS-Wzw

The pointers in Portal 2 are there because it's very hard to point at things in a 3D space. This is a 2D space in which there is a line going from your gun to whatever you're pointing at so it's much less useful here.

i thought of that , and how can your partner know that you are asking him to place a portal there ?

waggle your pointer between the two points (or one) place you want him to shoot,
don't forget you can use chat (last time I checked you could) as well.

Honestly, that wouldn't work. At all.

It could , but you have to warn the 2nd player and tell him like : ok when i wiggle my portal gun .......
but a signal would me cool . just like in Portal 2 you know ? push the F button , choses between the options and release the F button

Or you could just use Skype.

Personally, I think it would be a good idea. Clicking the mousewheel will set an icon to portal there (Idk if that already has a key)?

Well you could put a marker down and tell your friend the relevance of it... though that's barely any different to wiggling your aim in the appropriate direction and telling your friend the relevance of your wiggling aim.

That would be pretty cool. Maybe if you held a certain button your aiming line would change colours, signalling for your partner to place a portal.
