--NO DISPLAY--PLEASE HELP--

I have a laptop that runs Windows 7 professional, I run 4 gigs a ram and have a decent video card (but it shouldn't really matter for an 8 bit game like this... right?)
So back to the program.. When I run Mari0, all I see is a window, showing what is behind it, and I can hear the game. I cannot play the game however, someone please help

i dont know what the problem might be, but knowing what graphic card you have might help a lot for 2 reasons:
1) this is NOT an 8-bit game, it ony has 8-bit style graphics, but techically it has nothing to do with 8-bit games(its not easy to handle as much as an 8-bit NES game).
2) many integrated graphic cards may cause graphic problems in games, such as not being able to handle graphics bigger than 1024px(i dunno if this is your case, it's just an example).

Additionally, post hardware specifications. If it's a laptop, a model would be fine, otherwise at the very least graphics card model (or if using integrated, motherboard and processor models).

Most laptops have Intel HD Graphics in them
download and install this and it should work

I would disagree, I think most laptops have Intel but not exactly HD, maybe Celeron or Pentinium or Core.

either way the link i gave up there can let download Intel HD , and intel GMA if he had ATI or Nvidia he would'nt any problems at all

i confirm that Only CORE has HD graphics , i3 has normal graphics , i5 and i7 has the intel HD 3000. and 4000.

FALSE! not all laptops have hd processors such as a couple of microsoft ones and maybe some linux ones
But if you have a mac most of the newer models over 2009 have hd processors
