With the Vives/Beanstalks in Mari0 im requesting a feature, could we possibly have it so that if a vine hits a block that it stops that would be a cool new feature. allowing for ladders to secret parts of the level that are not in a different section

This feature would only make sense in SE as the vertical height is fixed and on screen currently so it wouldn't be very secret. I also believe this happens in some of the Mario games such as NSMB for DS as well so there is a history of it so it's not out of place.

In SMB3, sometimes they only went a certain height. I think having customizable hieghts would be cool...

By now, stuff like this is either already planned for SE or it's already in SE.

I don't remember a vine ever stopping on its own in SMB3 or SMW; only if there was a block in its path, which ended the vine's growth.

None of those show what BobTheLawyer or Superjustinbros described. Good job.

Apart from the first one but true. They only show what Jackostar10000 said he wanted in the first place. The point of the thread as I saw it at least.
EDIT: oh wait no Superjustinbros did say this was his memory of how vines worked on reread...

The first one is not a vine that grows. It's always there. Have you even played SMB2?

I have, but it seems I have forgotten. Can you have stopping beanstalks get in SE? Or will we have to mod them?

I'm not sure 3 is a valid argument.
