In order to play online you need Teamviewer. Go to http://www.teamviewer.com/
Then you get the persons ID or give them yours. All Teamviewer does is make it where you and whoever you want look at each others computer screens and control them. So it allows you to play two player online. I am still trying to see about four players. So after that have you or your partner open Mari0 and set it to two players and play! You might want to customize your controls. Also its a bit laggy but heck they haven't released SE so here is to kill the waiting time. So enjoy playing Mari0 online with friends.

well at least it kills your waiting time. Besides they may never release SE since they believe it has over a billion bugs even though their vid shows it looks just fine.

Any videos you have seen were from months ago. Also it's not only bugs, it's many new features that have to be coded, made graphics for, and tested to make sure it doesn't break the game in any way. They're also reworking the Portal mappack to include the new features and be overall a better mappack.
Also SE will be released, just most likely not anytime soon. Just gotta have patience.

That's because they would have been recording them playing it in a way that doesn't trigger any of the bugs. One could consider it bad press to releases a video of something but have the video just consist of thousands of bugs.
