Suggestions.
Well, hi, I'm new on the forums.
Now that's outta the way.
Suggestion 1: Level Portal
Not portal as in fling yourself, but portal as in an in-game menu for user created mappacks. There would be an option on the main menu to open it, obviously, and a button in the level editor itself that uploads the currently being edited mappack to the portal.
Suggestion 2: Fire power color editor
So you guys can turn into rainbow dash when you get a fire flower and I would just not give a crap about ponies.
Suggestion 3: Grabbing a mushroom that fell down a pit while at the top of the screen glitch
Because why not.
Suggestion 4: Edgeless Safety Cube & button
The "cube" would roll around when pushed, and stop rolling soon after. There would be a specific Edgeless Safety Cube button for it to sit on, and it would not roll (like the cube normally wouldn't anyway) as long as it's on the button.
Suggestion 5: Portalable surface switcher
The block from Portal 2 that changes between portalable surfaces (portalable to non-portalable and vice versa) when activated by a button or such.
Suggestion 6: Angled platforms
For flinging and advanced puzzles, would not be walkable (depending on angle) but solid and portalable/non-portalable.
Suggestion 7: A way to communicate ingame on multiplayer (online or not)
You know, the usual T to chat or hold V to use a microphone. And a mute button on the ESC/pause menu for the retarded no lifers.
I'm sure at least one of these were denied/already suggested/already being implemented into SE, so let me know.

7) There are plenty of other programs that allow voice communication. There will be text chat, but implementing voice would just end up being more work with very little return (and by little I mean zero). Also there will probably be some type of ping system like in Portal 2, but we'll see.

It's possible, isn't it?
Suggestion 9: Hat changes when new powerup is aquired
As in you, say, have a trilby as small Mario. You grab a mushroom, and your hat would change. Same for Fire Mario.

What he means is that with the starman power-up, your colours will flash by for less than a second. So you can look at your custom colour for 1 second and feel happy inside. Is it really worth it to edit stuff that will last one second? For a fully customized starman animation you need edit way more colours, and even then it's probably going to be similar to the original one.
And the last 2 sentences renhoek said is basically referring to thinking ideas through before posting them. There are many obvious flaws in many of your suggestions.

And by the way, renhoek did tell you what was wrong with your suggestion. Star colours change very quickly so you wouldn't see your custom colour much at all. The only real use for it would be if you wanted to make your starman have the same face colour or you wanted it to be always a shade of red or something silly like that.
