this game will be great once all the bugs are out without a doubt, but will we be seeing a SM3/Portal in the near future?

Why would we want it? A modder could take this game and add in all the SMB3 stuff, Maurice should be working on new things.

I'd say probably not. BUT HEH WHO AM I TO SAY ANYTHING EVER ?
and yeah it would be kind of a bitch to add things like the suit thing, but I guess it's doable.

I would assume it would be as simple as tweaking some controls to only apply when the suit is off, then adding in the altered controls for when the suit is on. Then just add the leaf and the sprites and you win.

I remember when I first got SMB it came on a NES cartridge with Duck Hunt. It would be awesome/weird/nonsensical to have a Duck Hunt/Portal game!

I never said I wasn't going to be happy with Mari0. They just brought back a classic, with a fun twist, I can't wait to try out the multiplayer.. and all for free. All I did was ask a simple question, it's just a thought...
